Useless out stat out of context. It has to be tied to usage or assists. If a guy isn’t a part of the offense, he’s not going to commit turnovers because he’s barely touching the ball.

TJ McConnell, Immanuel Quickley, Payton Pritchard, DeMar DeRozan, Andrew Nembhard, Ty Jerome, Jamal Murray, Jimmy Butler, Trae Young, Derrick White

Jerome, Butler and Trae all played under 40 games this season.

If we adjust the stats to 25%+ usage and a 2.5 AST/TO ratio (at least 41 games played) the list is:

Jamal Murray, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Brunson, Nikola Jokic, Tyrese Maxey, Cade Cunningham, LaMelo Ball

Basically these are all the best PG’s in the league who take care of the ball (and Jokic lol), while the list above with McConnell, Quickley, Pritchard, DeRozan, Nembhard and White are some lower usage guys that you can trust with the ball regularly and don’t make mistakes.

Curry doesn’t rack up that many assists, Luka commits a lot of turnovers.

It’s interesting how Devin has changed his game so much this year. He lets Fox, Castle, and Harper do almost all of the ball handling. Devin is mostly making plays in transition, catch and shoot shots, or taking a few dribbles then shooting a midrange shot usually towards the end of the shot clock. He has so much less responsibility on offense but he hasn’t complained. He has been better on defense this year I’d say too even though his steals are down.

One guy that impresses me is Immanuel Quickley. He plays 32 mpg and averages 6 apg with only 1.5 TOs per. He’s not a pure PG like a Chris Paul or a Jason Kidd, but I think the care he takes with possessions is really underrated.

Surprised to see a ball handler as good as Rudy Gobert be on the same level as Payton Pritchard. Surely the wolves should make Rudy the main ball handler as he has less turnovers then Donte DiVincenzo.
