love to see this from him going into the playoffs. Rockets been looking REALLY good during this stretch.
But the rockets traded all their pieces and picks for KD
The Rockets hardly traded anything for KD it’s hilarious that some people think that was a mistake
It was as low risk a move as trading for a star can possibly be
The truth is (and a lot of people still don’t want to admit this) even if KD sucked, trading for him was still worth it just to get rid of Jalen’s contract. Brooks was just the price of doing business.
And DFS being a bust for us has exacerbated the negative of losing Brooks. If DFS just played well enough to be in the rotation, we wouldn’t feel like Brooks is such a loss. Either way, having KD is worth it.
We should have obviously kept JG that missed half of the season and DB that missed 10+ games.
imo I think if there was a way they could have kept DB and traded Tari. I would of benefited the Rockets this season. Plus, Tari would shine in Phoenix.

I don’t remember people saying that at the time of the trade, and I haven’t seen it during the season either. This seems like one of those comments that are just making things up.
It’s been win-win for both teams. Rockets got their go-to scorer, and the Suns got depth and young players.
