With their win over the Lakers, the Thunder become the second team in league history to win 3-straight games by 30+ points.
They join the 1971-72 Phoenix Suns, who, coincidentally, also defeated the same team twice (Warriors) during their streak. Phoenix won those games by an average of 35 points.
In the Thunder’s 3-game stretch, they saw a 43-point victory against the Lakers, a 35-point victory against the Jazz, and a 36-point victory tonight against the Lakers, for an average margin of 38 points.
