This made me wonder how many times in NBA history a player has missed all three free throws on a three point foul.

Feels like it has to be pretty rare because bad free throw shooters usually don’t shoot threes. If they do shoot them, they’re usually getting left open, not getting fouled. And if they are fouled, the odds are still that you can make at least one with three attempts.

I remember Kevin Love getting found on a three while down two with 2.2 seconds left. He missed the first two, and when intentionally missing the third, he didn’t hit the rim, so the Wolves lost possession (and the game).
