I can’t imagine being a Sixers fan and having one of the greatest scorers of all time but also one of the most injured superstars of all time. I really feel for them and Embiid it must suck having to go through all the recovery just to be in the same boat over and over again.

Definitely not egregious. He was basically a point per minute guy for 2 seasons. Not saying he’s a better scorer than MJ or Wilt but he’s definitely in the upper echelon across NBA history especially for the big man position.

how is it “about as egregious”, he’s averaged almost 28ppg across 500 games. that puts him as one of the greatest ever. i hate the 76ers and even i know that. averaged 33ppg across 68 games in his MVP season. you can be a hater without being delusional.
I think he’s one of the most physically talented scores but unfortunately that potential has not translated to production; certainly not “one of the greatest” scorers. I mean, if asked to name the greatest scorers of all time is anyone naming Embiid in the top 5 or even top 10? That’s what “one of the greatest” kinda means…
He’s putting up these numbers in a league that is significantly higher paced, has more possessions, where scoring averages are up across the board and where officiating favors the offense. That’s not even mentioning his lack of availability.
Also his scoring averages drop almost double digits in the playoffs. I don’t know how basketball is where you’re from but as far as I know you score points to win games and his scoring drops off significantly when it matters. So yea, he’s not one of the greatest scorers of all time and it’s not delusional at all to say that.
Making millions of dollars probably mitigates some of the emotional toll
being physically inhibited and in pain is not fun no matter how much is in your bank account. he’s not just injured when he’s on a court
