[Highlight] - Duel between the two best teenagers to ever play in the NBA (22 years apart)
This is cool af, dudes gotta cherish these moments we never getting them again unless I decide to finally step into the league
The league ain’t ready for you DoomEternalx64vk
At 41, Lebron is still bigger, stronger, and faster than Flagg. The difference is the endurance at this point.
It’s still pretty cool to see. It’s like if Kareem would’ve been around when Shaq joined the league (only at a higher level) or if Jordan would’ve stayed into the league until LeBron played a few seasons.
Bigger and stronger is logical, you’d expect a grown ass man to be stronger than a kid who has recently turned 19. Flagg’s fairly big and strong for his age as it is. But yeah LeBron’s obviously a complete freak when it comes to athletic ability. He’s still faster and can jump higher than almost anyone else in the league, just can’t do it as frequently as he used to.
LeBron was also 40 pounds heavier than Flagg at 19…. And still faster and stronger.
Yeah because as I said he’s a complete freak, it’s pointless to compare anyone to LeBron physically. He’s going to be faster and stronger and more athletic all around at any age. I’m saying if you compare Cooper to your regular 18-19 year old rookies then he’s fairly well built already and doesn’t get bullied around or struggle that much with contact under the basket.
Oh absolutely. I agree. I just think the physical rarity of LeBron is understated because his height is within normal NBA range, but it’s his muscle mass and speed that go along with it that make him ridiculous
Lebron is the same size as Karl fucking Malone, but twice as fast and twice the leaper and also didn’t knock up a kid.
Everyone always drops the kid at the end 😂
I don’t care what the stats say, he wasn’t as big as prime Karl. That dude was straight up bulky.
He also had many of the tell tale signs of steriod use. The sudden balding and he started looking generally older all of sudden, combined with a quick jump in muscle mass. I worked around and trained althetes for 15 years. Incredibly unlikely that those tell tales were coincidence.
Yeah, it’s pretty clear when he was on the Heat and got huge one year.
you dont have to get defensive about comparing Coop and Lebron my guy
Not really. If I recall correctly, it was more like a 20 pound difference (at the combine, Bron was 240lbs while Flagg was 220lbs)
Yea them at 19 it’s not even close. Lebron was a man child. Flagg will be good tho, just not top 5 player ever type which is not a knock on him
Shit you don’t know , if he’s doing this before 20 it’s a chance he could be top 5 at least once.
I said top 5 ever type. Flagg is not going to be top 5 all time
And you know this based off less than one season of professional play?
I don’t know this, this is my opinion after following basketball for decades. We all have opinions here
There’s a big difference between you saying “I don’t think he will be top 5 all time” to what you did say which was just “he won’t be top 5 all time”.
Ehhhh….Flagg is a significantly better shooter and post-player than LeBron was at the same age. If he develops into say a 40% 3pt shooter we might be seeing something crazy.
Not the same as LeBron but nearly as good in different ways.
maybe you forgot when Bron was a teenager he’s bigger and stronger than other NBA players
LeBron James is the oldest guy to ever
Cmon dude don’t keep us hanging
Bash Memphis
This will go crazy in 20 years
Carmelo Anthony erasure
The only time anyone talks about the NBA is where some obscure stat happens. I mean who cares.
Who cares that Cooper Flagg is one of the best teenagers to ever play basketball?
