LeBron (41-096) becomes the oldest player to score 30+ points and 15+ assists in a game.
The previous record holder was LeBron at 34 years and 306 days. This was November 1, 2019.
3rd place is Steph Curry at 34 years and 251 days.
high as hell and was trying to figure out how a single player goes 41-096 in any stat
The stat is life
…. damn
Shaq FTM/FTA
I could see Ohtani going 41⁄96 in a playoff run if we’re looking at OBP
can’t wait for next year when he’s 42-069
a lot of miserable people in all the post game threads
LeOld
LeAARP
LeLife Alert
Lefallen and can’t get back up
He’s still the greatest complete player we’ll ever see.
It’s a shame that we need a 41 year old to carry us.
I dont think people are going to fully appreciate or comprehend how insane the Lebron career is until long after his career. Some day kids who have never seen him play and have their best players are going to look back at the history books and be like what the actual fuck was going on with this dude?
Half the people in the post game thread and social media blaming him for the loss as if the Lakers weren’t down their 3 best guards, their best 2 players, including an MVP candidate
Yuppp clearly the 41 year old with that stat line that is responsible for the loss! Its crazy to me thag people just choose to hate instead of just enjoy that absurdity of it
Durant and Curry are going in the same direction to a lesser extend. I don’t think the next gen superstars will be as productive at aged 37+.
Yeah Im not sure. There is so much damn talent and probably only going to get better and better that it will be really hard to have the longevity of some of these guys. Curry and Durant have both suffered some lengthy and impactful injuries. Lebrons lucky too that he didnt suffer something like one of them too. Its insane how effective Durant and Curry still are after tough injuries at an older age tooo
It’s good that while he’s getting his 30⁄15, he’s still padding his 30⁄10 leaderboard:
Longshot but either Curry or Durant may make it in the top 10
Or maybe some players find the Fountain of Youth in a cryogenics company
Honestly he looked like a decent first option. He shouldn’t be one now but he still looked like the most athletic guy on the court
Some random guy that lives in Oklahoma is gonna see that and still hate
Why would any of us hate LeBron? It ain’t 2012 anymore
I don’t know just what i saw in game thread
Game threads are pure 100% distilled toxicity.
Nothing good ever happens in there
Yeah it’s odd. Thought I’d check after LeBron had back to back dunks. If I wasn’t watching live you’d never know lol.
The only place worse than GDTs on sports subs are GDTs in team subs. lol
How is the old man still so spry?
Lebron becomes the oldest. Thats it.
He actually started the game with 2 straight turnovers, and then started the 2nd quarter with two straight turnovers against only one assist.
So he had 1 Assist and 4 turnovers, with 11:11 minutes remaining in the 2nd quarter.
Finishing the game with 15 Assists and 4 turnovers means he had 14 consecutive assists without any turnovers
Good perspective. That’s insane.
LeStillGotIt
Now I get to deeply appreciate his greatness in 15 and 18 Finals
The season he last did that was ADs first year, and his second, in LA.
If I remember correctly that game was also in Dallas, a crazy duel with Luka!
LeWaterIsWet
This fuckery can’t go on much longer…
Jokic the only guy who can beat that and he will probably be retired playing with his horses by then
jokic isnt dropping 30 and 15 at 41
the absence of luka and AR really exposing the Lakers FO
Turns out losing 2 of your best players hurts the team. Who knew!
For…… losing their first and second option? How many teams do you think can be competitive without their first and second best player lmao
Bruh if the Bulls lost both MJ and Pippen I still expect them to dominate idgaf
Kukoc and Rodman aren’t going to dominate shit smh
Wdym ain’t gonna dominate shit, Kukoc better drop 20/10/10, Rodman 20 reb 5 stocks per game, Harper turns back to Cavs/Clippers Ron, or else the Bulls FO is a goddamn failure
I know everyone else is celebrating the Lakers misfortune but the takes from even our own fanbase are insane
Yeah why is this team so vulnerable to losing their 1 and 2, and having their #1 poa player out? Was there no backup plan? Why didn’t jj have plays made up for this that would take then to the championship??!!
Oh here we go. Bron getting older means we’re going to see a neverending list of posts like this.
LeBron becomes the oldest player to shoot 90% in a game.
LeBron becomes the oldest player to dunk in a game.
LeBron becomes the oldest active player to eat a peanut butter sandwich.
sigh
It’s been this way for years, did you just get here?
It used to be impressive. Now he has most of the meaningful volume records so now it’s stat nerds saying Bron scored the most ever on April 3rd as a 41-year old.
Logically, if it was impressive before, it only gets more impressive the older he gets
But then again, if you were really tired of these posts and didn’t just wanna use them to comment this bs, you’d ignore these posts 🤭
