Gobert is fine, nobody expects him to take up the scoring load. Hes a super high level role player and his game isn’t supposed to scale up or down. I’d love to see the arguments you are referencing about who is better between Ant and Rudy, that seems like a straw man thing.

Gobert is the 46th highest paid player in the league. The amount of head space he occupies in some heads (like yours) despite not costing that much has been a wild experience to see. There are plenty of worse and less accomplished players ahead of him (including role players, and a decent amount of them have zero playoff success). For more perspective, he makes $18M less per year than Kat who was worse in the playoffs.

Again, never said he was the second best player on the team. Hes the second most important.
