[Highlight] LeBron James goes around Cooper Flagg and dunks it, and then he outruns Flagg for the fastbreak dunk (with replays)
We got 2026 Rookies scared of a 41 year old bron on a fast break dude crazy
For more time than Flagg has been on this Earth, LeBron has been an unstoppable myth. The aura is too much to comprehend. LeBron is basketball.
Cooper Flagg was 8 years old when it was believed that this fuckery won’t go on for much longer.
I better get a 90 minute monologue from Skip Bayless & Bill Simmons on how LeBron is the goat once he hangs it up.
Those fuckers made way too much money off hating on Bron.
Ok maybe Bill had other stuff but definitely Skip.
Lol nah. LeBron is the goat old guy to play. But, not the goat.
Who cares how many years of borderline all star a guy has when ranking GOAT.
This isn’t even creative ragebait. Do better.
Keep trolling bro. Too obvious
What an exhausting person you seem to be
Yo Moms in my DM’s asking why their kids basketball takes are so bad.
Yo, tell your mom to get out of your DMs and teach you face to face… that’s on her
To be fair, that 41 is the freaking GOAT.
FROM AKRON, OHIO. #23
Youngest player in the league vs oldest player in the league and it was awesome haha
LeBron has been playing professional basketball longer than Cooper Flagg has been alive. Crazy
Fear the old man in a young man’s game.
This just made me search first Cleveland lebron athletic highlights. Sometimes I forget just how crazy he was when he was young.
Eh, LeBron is still fast as fuck, and once he got a step on Flagg the only thing Flagg could do is foul him and risk injury to both of them. It was smart to let him go.
I don’t care that the two best guys are out a 41 shouldn’t have to push the pace this much for the game to be competitive
The Lakers have not had a genuinely all around great roster since 2020
I’ve been saying this whenever people question JJ playing these guys too “hard” and acting like he’s thibs. For the last 2 seasons he has had to play his good players heavy minutes because he can’t rely on the bench for shit. JJ is doing what he can with what he has and the only reason this team has been able to mask it and have a good record this season is 1) they got Luka fucking Doncic who has been playing out of his mind (plus AR has been great this season and Bron is still capable) and 2) JJ has been coaching his ass of to make up for it.
Y’all think he wants these guys playing heavy minutes? Y’all think he wanted the result he got? Lmao people be insane acting like he does it for fun to sabotage the team
That one time he didn’t sub them for the whole game was crazy though
Avoiding the 2nd apron plays a big part.
Second Apron is what 207 mil
First apron is what 195 mil
Luka makes \(46 mil, LeBron makes \)52 mil. 40% of cap is on 2 players. This would be fine if it was lebron from 6 years ago and while he still in thst upper tier of players hes not first team All-NBA player anymore. Now obviously off court Lakers make back thst \(52 mil ten-fold cause its lebron fucking james, but on court hes not worth \)52 mil.
Add to that rui hachimura makes \(18 mil and Austin reveas at \)12.
This off-season will be interesting for Lakers cause lebron may leave who knows, rui is off books and so is Austin Reveas. Big off-season to see how they build around Luka
i mean what do you expect, like 80% of our salary is tied into 3 players. 2 are out, and the other is the aforementioned 41 year old.
he shouldn’t have to but i mean when he makes 50M a year, he probably should. Y’all act like we shouldn’t expect Bron to play at a high level because he’s old, but if a guy you’re paying 50M doesn’t play at a high level, it’s hard to be a good team.
all that said, LeBron does play at a high level most of the time, even if his energy is lower.
Austin is on a cheap as fuck deal don’t give the lakers org an excuse
Both things can be true
They kinda balance each other out tbh. The real dilemma is that Luka deal was too good to not take because he is that elite but it is awkward cause Lebron had a high contract and overlaps way too much. But it’s fucking Lebron James so they made their bed with brushing aside his last chapter by signing their next one. I hate it cause it spits on Lebron’s last hopeful run.
They would’ve been in a better position if they had drafted better. Wasted picks on Dalton and JHS.
The Celtics are paying JT,JB, and Derrick white similar money and yet have a much better roster. Same with the nuggets, thunder, knicks, cavs and you could even argue the wolves. It is a failure from the gm that we have such shit bench depth.
Did the Lakers blow up their young core after winning a championship? That shit made no sense.
Austin is 5 mil below Rui this season and 1 mil above Vando lol
You basically described the warriors as well
A good GM can still get quality players. The Celtics and Nuggets have been able to build a quality roster despite the high contracts
Pelinka has no excuse
No we have a great team still we are the legendary leaping lakers! We can win a championship. We have dawgz in us
‘21 was a really good roster sunk by injuries.
Then they panicked when they saw the Nets big 3 and traded for Russ, effectively shutting down their championship window.
One of the most boneheaded trades.
Pelinka would not have a job if Nico Harrison didn’t call him begging him to take Luka for AD
The ‘21 team I thought was better than the ‘20 team. Then Solomon Hill fell in to LeBrons ankle and we fell back to the play in. Then LeBron made it back for the playoffs and it was looking like we were going to beat the Suns in the 2⁄7. Then AD got hurt.
2020 wasn’t even a great roster we just had the 1A and 1B in the entire league during our playoff run.
100% and that is the main reason why even though we won 50+ games again this season I said in the lakers sub mid season that we will not win a title if the roster does not improve (got downvoted obviously)
The personnel and all around depth is just not there.
Ever since Russ. This team has had dogshit depth and terrible fits talent wise
The 41 year old still makes 52 million per year. So his age should not really be an excuse.
Makes you appreciate Luka, they needed every minute he gave. I’m not sure any other star could carry this lakers team to a comfortable #3 seed in a stacked west.
The Lakers are literally above .500 in 13 games without Luka this season
Lol how many wins are those on above. 500 teams
That’s shifting the goalposts. Your initial comment implying that it has been some outrageous carry-job by Luka this season was disingenuous.
Just for comparison’s sake, the Warriors record without Curry is 13-25 this year.
How about u compare Lukas team w/o him to Spurs, Nuggets or OKC. Hint. They are the worst.
No ones shifting goalposts, I’m not making an mvp case. You’re assuming I am.
tbf, mavs are NOT above .500 team
How is that relevant being above .500 without your superstar is unbelievable no matter who you’re playing
There are plenty games going on a tankathon, the teams that were beat matter more than you think.
The other top 4 west teams, are more than stacked to lead u to top 6 without their star.
What? Most teams are above .500 without their star. Look at OKC, Denver or Spurs. They all have higher win rates without than Lakers w/o Luka.
Dude’s impressive.
And the most impressive bit of this clip is how fast he sprinted to get back on defense after his first dunk left him out of bounds and behind the play.
That floor touch and launch is freaking bonkers
I tore my achilles just thinking about trying that burst
They’re all moving so fast feels like someone sped up the clip
100%, I feel like he’s got potential to be the face of the league if he stays healthy
Hey Luka and Austin. We’re good, LeBron is here.
Lmao, the king is still great but we’re not good at all.
When LeBron went to the bench I was wondering how the Lakers were going to score
Arduously
even in this picture, we’re down 14 lol
It’s a reference to a Cowherd clip about Lebron and Ben Simmons
Cowherd has a ton of horrendous takes, but that Ben Simmons glazing has to be his worst.
This particular take was horrendous, but I honestly don’t blame people for being high on Ben Simmons at the time. He was a respectable 3pt shot away from being one of the best players in the league, he just didn’t fulfill his potential.
Simmons seemed to want the lifestyle more than being the best. I think people underestimate this trait whe looking for top tier talent. Kinda like, say Ayton.
It’s the reason I was so high on Wemby after seeing the way he carried himself that first year.
Now there’s two of them!
TAKE MY ENERGY GOAT
LeSpirit Bomb
Had a uber athletic 19 yer old just concede and not even try to contest lol
He didn’t wanna be known as the guy who injured a 41yo legend lmao
If Lebron got hurt every Lakers fan head might have exploded.
*get injured by a 41 year old legend.
when you’re up by 14 on a meaningless regular season game when you’re a bad team, they call that a business decision.
Business decision.
41 is the new 21
Lebron is 50, this fuckery wont go on for much longer, thank god
Damn 41 years old outrun 19 years old is crazy
TFW you realize LeBron on his deathbed will be 20x the athlete you were at your peak.
Wtf
PRIME BRON IS STILL IN THERE
This is going to be one of those crazy trivia things in the future. Did YOU know.. Cooper Flagg and LeBron James played against each other?
Genuinely unreal lmao
Holy shit he’s still running so fast
I swear 41 year old Lebron dunks all have the exact same sound. The rim never shakes. It’s just one brief, but loud, thwunk.
That’s my GOAT, but that’s not my ROTY
Should be your ROTY though, Coop has been straight ballin all year.
Elite defense
Basketball is a young man’s game, but old ass LeBron is laughing at the notion of it right now.
Lazy-ass zoomer lol
Yessss
What golfing with Bob does to a MFer.
What the hell was 00 doing on defense just jumping out of the way? Wild behavior.
I thought this fuckery wasn’t supposed to go on for much longer lmao
Wouldn’t really say he outran him… he had the angle on him.
ROTY
LeROTY
LeBron is an amazing athlete, so fun to watch knowing that he can still turn it on. It would be great if he signs with Cleveland this offseason, I’d love to see if he can push/pull that roster to a championship at age 42.
LBJ had a two step lead and the inside path to the basket.
Wow
Amazing
LeBron is the most durable superstar ever availability is his greatest feat in the nba besides the points
Lakers now only down 16!!!
Lebron is older than me. If I have to stand in a line holding my son for too long, my arm gets so sore it’s basically unusable for 36 hours. The dude is absolutely unreal.
Seriously damning of Flagg.
Absolutely no excuse for the 19 year old ROY to be completely outrun by a 41 year old TWICE. Doesn’t matter if it’s LeBron, you’re supposed to be an NBA level ATHLETE.
Lol its Lebron, of course it matters.
All that to still be down only 14
They’re now down 6.
If only Luke, Ayton and LaRavia could make a shot
I expect they’ll have a better half than first. The odds of them repeating a 3 for 20 half are not high imo.
Ayton!? DominAYTON? Make a shot?
lol
You do know the team’s 2 leading scorers are out right? You know the team’s best defensive guard is out right? You know LeBron is 41 right?
