[Highlight] Wemby on defending the Nuggets: It’s different than most teams since they have the best offensive player in the world
When you’re defending a 7 foot tall, big bodied player who can launch threes, the game plan for anyone else goes out the window.
have they tried trading for phokic?
Is that a Vietnamese Jokic? Is that what you guys call J-Will?
He’s also Viet Curry and the Shai Glazer
Could he possibly be… Shai Guerillgeous-Alexander?
I also offer for submission: Viet Kong vs Cling Kong if the Blazers end up the 8th seed…
This is a little dark considering the great state of the people in Vietnam lol but it’s a solid nickname
Yeah, the second one might be worse… But I thought we were just memeing. Apologies if offensive to anyone.
Naw you’re good with me! What a dumbass comment for me to make that made it seem offensive. It was clever.
My suspicions have been confirmed that JWill is just a Vietnamese JDub hence the spelling varied and the eyes have it. Lol
Can’t have him, sorry.
i know they cant, though i am surprised he is kinda serviceable against jokic.
Really the only thing you can do for Jokic is put a really strong big body on him to tire him out. It’s why Zubac was able to keep him at 44% from the field last playoffs.
Wemby is obviously the opposite of that right now.
OKC got it down with the double team into the triple team down in the paint. Smaller forward picks him up and big boys come help
One won’t get it done in the playoffs. He’s skilled enough to get any individual defender in foul trouble.
You need at least two, preferably 3 capable Jokic defenders to make his life hard, and even then he’ll probably drop his season average
No small task, and best case, you just blunt his performance a bit.
Two bigs on the floor, and one on the bench to keep a rotation fresh. Plus an oversized guard-forward to try to slow down Gordon when Jokic dumps it off to him. (IHart, Chet, JWill) and JDub as the guard-forward.
Nuggets are always a brutal match up for the Thunder.
We have the antidote in Caruso
and always has been iirc. Even back in the 22-23⁄23-24 seasons.
When you’re in town please visit Pho King in Hilo Hawaii. Best banh mi and pho East of Saigon.
The problem that some teams run into, when dealing with such a scoring machine, is when that same dude also happens to be one of the greatest passers in NBA history
Yeah it’s impressive for a big man. He locked down on defense late in the game too. For someone with his build, obviously locking down on the perimeter all game isn’t an option. But he was impressive doing it tonight.
He does this often and people act like he’s a traffic cone. It’s not like he’s elite but c’mon.
The gap between Jokic’s lowlights and his effectiveness might be the largest in NBA history.
Like he does really good work on defense, and he works extra hard to keep his issues from being an issue… but when they’re an issue, he’s flat footed and some superhuman is bursting by him.
I didn’t say he’s a traffic cone. I said playing lockdown this intensely for the entirety of the game would be inefficient for him.
I’m not saying you said that and I totally agree with your point. I really think m OKC got the best of him last year by making him work hard on both sides of the floor
The gap is more likely the fouls than endurance.
You’ve got a bit more room to defend in the fourth and overtime with 2 fouls than you do in the first and second quarters.
THE best passer in NBA history
Nah you let jokic score and clamp everyone else. Dont double till the last possible moment. We should have maybe played double big as well, but I imagine we’re saving that for the playoffs.
You need to defend him the way Minnesota does. Basically don’t have Wemby play him one on one. You have Wemby roam the paint and have your 4 guard him at the top of the key
Yeah! Do what the Timberwolves are doing… They are holding Jokic to 36/15/11 on 78% TS in four games.
In all seriousness, that strategy only works when you have a physical big who can bang with Jokic in the paint (Kat, Hartenstein) and a shot blocker who can roam (Rudy, Chet). The Spurs don’t really have a secondary big like that to throw at Jokic.
First of all that is the point? You let Jokic get his and stop everyone else. His TS% is indicative of the strategy not in spite of it.
Minnesota hasn’t been as good against the nuggets this year but before that ridiculous OT loss on Xmas, they had won something like 10 of their last 12 against them, so I’m not sure why you’re being all smug about it. They went 4-0 last year with Randle at the 4 doing what I suggested.
The spurs will adjust if they play them again obviously. You’re probably right they don’t necessarily have the personnel to do what I’m suggesting but it’s something they should look at and try to modify it to fit their roster. Caruso had success on Jokic last year in the playoffs so there is a path for the spurs
Well let’s just hope you guys can take them out or at least tire them out.
ngl at this point id rather face anyone before the wolves. maybe excluding thunder but wolves are just as scary
Oh 💯 our hope is they tire each other out. The thing about wolves in Ant ALWAYS shows up against Wemby. So i hope all their role players become Steph curry as well lol. At this point we have to realize no round is gonna be easy. Everyone in the West is able to upset anyone. Whoever comes out of the West is gonna be beat to all hell before they even get to the championship. Unless you maybe get rockets anf lakers which it looks like OKC may get.
“IS THAT LUKE KORNET’S MUSIC!?”
Carter Bryant might be the best bet, but he fouls a ton. That’s why I think kornet would be the best option and then wemby can roam.
Yea they’ll have to try Kornet. I think that might work
But thats the loser way to play. Real GOATS like MJ, Kobe, and heck even Kawhi demanded to defend the best players of the opposing teams, and it led to them being legendary players.
I hope Wemby doesn’t lose the mamba mentality and he continues to beg for the hardest big man assignment. Its why AD earned my respect in the LA vs Denver series, even though the fans were clamoring for AD to be a help defender instead of guarding Jokic, he still guarded Jokic 1 on 1. Now that is an honorable player.
That’s literally what the Dubs did in 22
One of the few guys who can consistently get his shot off over Wemby.
We’re so lucky to see 2 freaks of nature, and 2 of the best to ever do it clashing like this.
It’s not just that. The dude is the total package. Can’t double, he’s one of the best passers ever. Can hardly play straight up - incredible touch around the rim, and the strength and skill to get to the rim against almost anyone. Even if you put a healthy AD on the mfer and manage to keep him away from the rim while keeping teammates in check, and the dude just lets it fly on great percentages. Play the shot, and he’s at the rim again. Help at the rim, and there’s AG yamming it in.
Have they tried snagging Jovic
And also leads the league in assists. Dude really is 1 of 1
Wemby: you dare use my own spells against me, Potter?
One of the reasons I like watching Jokic so much is that he always seems to know what to do with the ball. Like oh no one is open better just put my ass to the rim and back this puny dude all the way to the rim.
I love watching the spurs too. That whole team is nuts. People always talk about how deep OKC is (and they are) but the spurs have some awesome talent off the bench.
When the best defender in the league calls you the best offensive player in the world, that’s pretty definitive
It’s already definitive, he clearly is.
The main competition is Luka and SGA, and while Luka is an absolute all-around offensive force, and SGA a crazy efficient scorer who’s also a good passer, Jokic is a tier above both. Super efficient scorer too, takes it to the next level in the playoffs, and having a centre who is one of the best passers of all time, at any position, while also being an unreal shooter and ball handler, it’s just the ultimate matchup nightmare.
Luka and SGA transform offences for the better, Jokic just does it even more so.
It pretty much comes down to this:
Jokic is a better overall shooter than Luka and a better much passer than Shai, while also having some game-breaking skills at his height/position.
You could argue Luka and Jokic are a wash from the 3pt line (Jokic has a better percentage - Luka has a higher volume), but Jokic is a notably better shooter in the mid-range (long or short).
Jokic shoots around 50+% from 10-feet to the 3pt line - he is effectively dangerous from everywhere in the mid-range. This year, he’s shooting almost 60% from 10-16 and 50% from 16-feet to the 3pt line.
Luka hovers around 45-50% from 10-16-feet (he was shooting 50% from there this year). From 16-feet to the 3pt line Luka drops down to 30-40% (and was 40% this season).
And, yeah, while Shai might be as good (or better) than Jokic when it comes to shooting, Jokic is clearly a much better passer.
Aside from all that, though, Jokic has a couple of other things that make him basically game-breaking on offense compared to Shai and Luka.
Add those skills in with his height/strength advantage and Jokic pretty much has a better off-ball game (can post high or low, shoot off the catch, extremely good cutter, top-tier connective passer)
His height/strength also gives him a rebounding edge. And, in Jokic’s case, he’s dangerous as a rebounder on offense and defense. He turns defensive rebounds into fast-break opportunities (because he’s a center that can handle the ball) or he gets offensive rebounds and turns them into second-chance shots.
But, yeah, Jokic basically wins out by virtue of having less “weaknesses” in his offensive game while also having game-breaking skills as a center.
My take is like, you can take Luka and SGA out of the game. Or at least, slow them down. It takes great defense and a weak night from them, but you can do it.
You just can’t with Jokic. There is no defender that can truly matchup with him one on one, and doubling will kill you with his passing.
It’s like having an extra point guard on the floor for no reason
Didn’t they take Jokic out of the game last year by putting Caruso on him and denying ball?
Also I’m pretty sure more teams blitz and double Luka than Jokic
That was the strategy and it ended up being effective enough, but he still averaged 28/14/6 over the series and it went 7 games. It blunted him but it didn’t take him out of the game.
The Caruso part is an oversimplification.
OKC and both Los Angeles teams use a strategy basketball analysts are calling “bracketing” where they functionally triple team him with AG and Christian Braun’s defenders. They have someone simultaneously fronting him, backing him, and a third defender whose job is to wait for him to turn and put it on the floor before attacking the dribble immediately.
This is that, “Did the Lakers solve Jokic!?,” defense that you’ll hear people call the prevent-Jokic defense, or you hear Nuggets fans bitching about small guards hanging off his elbows with no whistle.
The playoff wrinkle was emboldening the AG/CB triple teams to extend themselves onto Murray if he dribbled too close. Which is more extreme than we’ve seen this year, but last year as long as MPJ was covered the only other two shooters you had to respect were involved in the same action. This year, there can be a Cam in one corner, a Hardaway coming off an AG screen in the other, and Jokic/Murray get to dance a bit more freely.
Both the Thunder and Clips started off each series allowing Jokic a single game in isolation (Against Hartenstein/Zu) before abandoning it. Even with Zu’s good work, that strategy only works if Zu gets to play with 10 fouls all evening. He doesn’t though, and it put a lot of pressure on him to both defend Jokic and not foul.
Zu did as good as anyone could ask for as Jokic’s primary, real exemplary shit… but he did even better as the person Jokic is running into after he used his dribble to get by someone else, and now has to pick it up and finish around him.
Zu’s problem is a less extreme version of the Chet/Rudy problem. “Fine” in 1v1 isn’t as good as “Awesome” coming over the top in an environment where you can lose games and series despite “Great” defense.
Who’s effectively taken SGA out of the game?
I think part of it is also that Wemby defends his position though. Sga or Luka can get past him too, it just doesn’t happen as much in games because his primary assignment is Ayton or Hartenstein. It takes a pretty conscious effort to get through the “this team is easy to defend so probably their best player is not as good as the guy who I have trouble defending” effect
So fuckin funny Luka was in mvp convos when the thing he is best at he is a tier below jok
Well put
It’s kind of backhanded, cause he doesn’t want to say the best player.
That’s exactly what it is, he put Giannis, Shai and Himself over Jokic earlier this season when asked about this
Meanwhile the best defender on the planet couldn’t even force a turnover or keep Jokic under 40
This is why MVP is an offense award, because offense is the game
They downvote you but you’re right. DPOY exists for a reason. Wemby is not providing enough on offense, and a great player like jokic will ALWAYS get the better on the “points scored/points I let them score”, because great offensive players like jokic can just never be stopped.
Well except refs let Wemby foul the shit ouf of him for an entire playoff series like they let caruso and dort.
There’s a reason the Nuggets have the best offense in the league and it’s not Christian Braun
It’s because of 2x NBA Dunk Contest robbery victim Aaron Gordon, right?
He’s not Mr Nugget for nothing
That’s right
He is the greatest player of all time to thunder fans. Even when he was on the magic…
He has the most ethical, efficient 50 nugget game. It is definitely because of him.
Actually a different Nugget than Jokic or Gordon might hold that honor.
He shot 45% from three. If he hadn’t missed so many layups he’d have had a great game offensively.
Their strategy was to make him beat them and to his credit he kept shooting despite the slow start.
Christian Braun 5⁄11 from downtown.
Fox, Keldon and Castle were a combined 0/16.
The Spurs playoff success this year is going to hinge on what happens when teams pack the paint against them and dare Fox/Castle/Harper to shoot.
Unless you’re the Thunder, they turn into prime Curry against us
One of them is not called Steph C for nothing
They have been on fire since February, so they were due a bad game on jump shooting.
Well, it was the Spurs gameplan to leave him completely wide open and it actually was working OK when he was 3⁄9. Then he hit the next 2 thank god.
He had 21 points on 16 attempts, plus 4 assists and 0 turnovers. That is objectively a great game.
He also had the second highest +/- for the Nuggets at +10. I understand that +/- isn’t a perfect 1 game stat, but it was aligned to the eye test in this one. He defended well, rebounded well, and moved to the right places.
They dared CB to shoot and he shot. I just wish his shot was more consistent so that his rep improves. Weren’t there also rumours that his ankles were cooked this season?
Every single one of his threes were wide open
Little fucker needs a pullout game. Just draw them in slide away, and lob it
CB catching strays after having a great game wth
Super slow start but great second half.
It’s the bad start shooting wise that affected the perception
Having CB is like having Giannis in transition though…
I love CB but pump the brakes
This was a statement people were saying last year when he was trying to get a new contract. It’s a joke, but statistically he was crazy in transition last year (it was pretty close to Giannis actually).
He led the league in fast break points
Oh, sure
Hey he made some of his warm up 3s when he was left wide open which helps keep his energy on the court which was big
Awesome game, actually felt like a playoff
West rivalries are coming back 🙏🏻
Spurs nuggets thunder and the wolves about to have the craziest 4 way rivalry for like a decade
Dude the Wolves just give us nightmares. I think they’ve just got our number
Idk about that lol. I don’t think the Wolves can win against OKC, SA, or Denver. They’re just not serious.
[deleted]
itd be a bigger deal if it were ever up for debate lol
Main stream media and salty old players try to pretend Jokic doing what he’s doing is normal. If we’re being serious Jokic should have won last year’s mvp and this year.
Not Robert Robert Parish that guy was giving Jokic his flowers out of nowhere
Never forget Bill Walton saying Jokic is what makes him believe tomorrow is worth fighting for way back in 2018
Yeah the only other real argument is probably Luka and I feel like that’s been a losing one for years now
As a Luka stan, I think the biggest difference is position. Talent-wise they’re quite similar, but having that level of passing and shotmaking at the C is so much more unfair than as the primary ballhandler.
Jokic is on another level as a passer. He passes people open in a way Luka can’t.
Jokic is also WAY, WAY better without the ball in his hands
This is all about how large he is and good at setting screens/boxing out right? or is Jokic also better at catch and shoot 3’s?
It’s not just screens and boxing out, it’s general movement and positioning. Jokic is a fucking wizard at running off-ball actions, he’s incredibly good at figuring out what kinds of play the defensive scheme isn’t ready for and immediately pulling it out exactly when they’re least able to defend against it. He’s always repositioning himself to keep the opposing big man away from the action as well, just to make it a little harder for the other team to rotate into position.
On top of that, he’s probably the best player in the world at being immediately threatening off the catch within the arc. His decisions come so quickly that you have to guard him tightly even if he doesn’t have the ball, so he acts as both an emergency out for the current ball-handler as well as taking away some of the help defense.
This comment makes me feel like I don’t even know what to watch on the court 🫣 Thanks for the analysis that’s super interesting
Watch the last bucket of regulation for the nuggets. Sets a screen slips it gets the ball and doubled finds AG for easy dunk. But watch how he gets open and realize he is definitely the slowest dude on the court and they are expecting him to get the ball and he is still that open against Wemby the dpy.
It doesn’t help in this comparison to Luka that Luka mostly just stands around without the ball.
As on old fuck - Totally different style - but that was something that made MJ so deadly back in the day. He was just so decisive off the catch that it killed defenses. Like Jokic he always knew immediately what he was going to do
Yes
I think Jokic is way more gifted than Luka, and has the position advantage as you’ve mentioned.
Better efficiency, better passing and playmaking, better rebounding. Has proven to play championship-winning basketball
Luka plays from the outside in due to his position, which naturally has lower efficiency compared to bigs starting from inside. All the advantages you described are consequences of positional difference.
I’d argue it’s better to have it in your primary ball handler since center is a more important defensive position, but Luka’s lack of off ball game and reliance on jump shooting is what really limits him in comparison
The problem is Jokic is across the board better at all the skills Luka is elite at. His main weakness is defense where Luka is worse. The only thing he doesn’t do that Luka does is take up a much higher volume in terms of shooting, but that’s a clear efficiency trade off.
It’s much easier to argue something like Wemby > Jokic because there are clear places where Wemby is better. With Luka vs Jokic it’s like “well the guy is marginally better at everything you’re good at”.
I know we’re dodging it but there’s also a guy named Shai
Shai is the best pure scorer in the league and also has great playmaking skills to support that, but I don’t think he’s as complete as Jokic is on that side of the ball.
Shai is a better scorer, not offensive player
I’m a shai glazer and even I don’t think he’s the best offensive player in the world. Jokic is a whole offensive system. He’s efficient, can do insane passes, get you extra possessions through rebounds. Shais case is his consistency, efficiency as well, defensive ability for his position, and being a a crazy good iso scorer that can bail you out. Both mvp level players but what they give you is different.
Jokic is more efficient, though
shai has scoring and nothing else on jokic
well yeah it’s been losing for years because Jokic is older. As Luka continues to improve and Jokic declines it will become an argument. Maybe even this year tbh Luka was looking better before the injury.
Real talk. It’s high praise, but goddamn everyone knows.
I think he said the same before this season started.
Wemby acknowledges other great players.. he praised okc and sga too during their match ups
Is it like something we all didn’t know already? Lol
Hes not wrong 👀👀
wemby will be an all time great to. But Jokic will start declining in the next few years and Wemby is just going to get better I see him passing Jokic in a couple of years. Not sure if Wemby will beat Jokics peak years. But hes going to be good.
At any rate, Wemby at 22 is a lot further along than Jokić was. That’s promising, but it’s true that nothing is guaranteed
To be fair expectations for Wemby and Jokic were wildly different. Wemby is a #1 pick and one of the most hyped players to enter the league. Jokic was drafted during a Taco Bell commercial. I’d expect Jokic to not be ahead at this point
Jokic helped improved scouting standards around the league by a lot. While Giannis was still considered an athletic freak, NBA teams were not fairly scouting Europe. Now, there’s no chance a player as skilled goes out of first round
If Jokić was the prodigy Wemby was, he’d have been hyped a lot more than the 47th pick. It’s not a slight against Jokić to say Wemby’s skillset was a lot more obvious at a young age
Well I mean so are a lot of younger players. Cade, ant, coop, etc. I don’t think jokic was even considered mvp material probably until the bubble run, it took him a while to be that good
He was a pretty fucking fantastic rookie
Jokic is a player that will still be elite in his mid 30s since he doesn’t jump or run fast at all and he just needs good stamina which you can maintain for way longer.
Also needs to maintain his body. Injuries become an issue later in the career
With the leaps Wemby makes every year and his drive to keep improving and his scientific mindset to improvement, I assume he would come back a lot better offensively next year and a bit better defensively.
He is in the conversation of being the MVP this year. If the above manifests, he would be the best player just next year.
It happens Wemby. Jokic gets the best defenders in the league. He is just that good (Jokic is an all timer).
I mean Wemby is the best defender in the league and to his credit made life difficult for Jokic the entire time. Those clutch shots were not mistakes by Wemby, Jokic just shot better coz he’s that good
Those clutch shots were not mistakes by Wemby, Jokic just shot better coz he’s that good
Exactly what I meant/said.
That’s the best player in the world to you, Mr. Alien.
Trust, that man did not stutter. He knew exactly what he was saying
He was literally asked about playing defense against Denver. Responding by calling Jokic the best offensive player in the world isn’t some veiled backhanded compliment.
But is their offense sophisticated?
I see you brother 😂
They need to seriously change the MVP award name to Most Outstanding Player or something because Joker is the MVP and has been the MOST VALUABLE PLAYER to his team for the last 5 years. Go argue with ya momma nem
Yeah but how many players will want to be the mop?
He’s also the most outstanding player so idk how changing the name does anything to change the argument
Call it most valuable, it’s Jokic
Call it most outstanding, it’s Jokic
Call it most impressive, it’s Jokic
Call it most game breaking, it’s Jokic
Call it best player, it’s Jokic
Call it offensive player of the year (since DPOY exists), it’s Jokic
Call it best player on the highest seed, then it’s not Jokic
Call it best defender that can score 25 a game, then it’s not Jokic
People always wanna bring the “it’s not the best player award or x player would have 6”, but bro, Jokic is the only guy that SHOWS he’s the best in the world in the REGULAR SEASON, every single year, this guy isn’t cruising and doesn’t have a superteam
Buckle up for a bunch of salty Shai fans
Why? Jokic is undeniably the best offensive player in the game, borderline all time if you ask me
People for some reason equate their mvp cases lol. Shais greatest strength is being one of the best iso players we’ve seen. Jokic is the definition of offense of basketball. You have no idea wtf to do and need someone to bail you out time and time again? Go with shai. Need a whole offensive system that can rebound, pass, score? Go with Jokic. We’re watching insane basketball almost every night as of late with these guys being on the court
Acting as if this is some sort of hot take coming from Wemby is fucking hilarious.
Jokic is in the conversation for best offensive player ever.
I’m a curry fan and warrior fan and yeah, jokic may be up with curry now as far as Greatest offensive talents ever
And yet the salty reply in this thread is just a Luka fan
Jokic is an great who outdoes SGA when it comes to shooting, passing and guiding an offense, SGA is good at all that as well but Joker is an all-timer when it comes to it
SGA is better at taking matters in his own hands to decide games, driving in the paint, protecting the ball and on defense, Jokic is good in all that as well but SGA is having an historical season on his own
Separating Jokic as the better offensive player is far from something, get ready for it, offensive
I’ve seen more salty bitter ppl complaining about sga fans than actual sga fans
Im the biggest Shai fan. Idc I like basketball so I like jokic. You guys are obsessed.
Who is better, offensively, in your opinion?
The Luka stans seem more upset about this mantle.
Nothing wrong here
Top comments at thunder flairs agreeing lmao. Rent free
Most of us agree Jokic is a better player, but SGA should be MVP this year.
It’s getting closer and closer, but they don’t play even remotely the same position or role so it’s hard to compare. Both winners. One fan base just has to tear down the other guy.
Not me
Eh part of the argument for sga is he’s a much better defender than jokic even if he’s slightly less impactful on offense than jokic
I mean isn’t this a callback to when at the beginning of the season Wembanyama said Jokic was the best offensive player, but Shai and Giannis were the best overall, and that he thought he was going to be the best overall when he got back on the court?
If anything, seemed like a slight, sly knock at Jokic
vegetable kale is not replying on this comment.
I’ll say the quiet part out loud “Euro Mafia”
Imagine these two on the same team! That would be a ring before the playoffs even start.
Don’t utter such a horrifying thing ever again.
It seemed like that was painful for Wemby to say lol
Wemby didnt say best in the world for a reason
His most recent stance on this was saying that Giannis and Shai were the two best.
Then he said it would be him after he comes back from his injury and he’s there for sure.
I watched the game
The nuggets had to play their hearts out to win by 2
Can’t wait for the series
I think it’ll be 4-2 spurs
Counterpoint. Spurs played their hearts out and lost by 2.
It was a really good hard fought game all around.
Bingo.
Nuggets with tremendous poise in the clutch. Spurs are beatable this year because of inexperience in these moments in the playoffs. The Nuggets would be the perfect team to take advantage of that inexperience. Probably the last year that can be said.
I did feel like it was more tough for Denver in terms of eye test
I think spurs kind of choked at the end … not a horrible choke cuz Denver played well but the 4 point play and the missed alley oop were pretty bad self inflicted wounds
There was a sequence where Jokić is hit in the face, awarding Wemby 3 FT’s, followed by what was clearly a side out awarding Wemby 2 FT’s instead, followed by Hardaway being clearly fouled on a 3pt attempt, but ruled side out. ~8 point swing all went to SA.
How different is the game if that first foul is called as it should’ve been and its wemby’s 3rd? Talking about SA choking is wild with what broke their way in the first half.
yeah it’s a pretty even match up, it will come down to who makes less mistakes in the end
Jokic showed him that defense isn’t 50% of the game.
No lies
Finally Goliath vs Goliath…story untold before..
„Im the best defender“ „we’ll der offense was really good sooo..“
Wemby, just say he is the best player in the world, its not that hard
They have Luka Doncic?
Jokic beat Wemby, Spurs and the horrible refs
I’m also a big fan of Christian Braun
Its airways the other guys in the 4th that win the games. Nuggets anyways turn up energy late in 4th everyone gets on edge doubles jokic and he kicks it out to shooters who will make the shit (mostly). Then i said if fox is in the game in OT we will lose. We dropped the ball on both those things. Should of benched fix and should have played Jokic straight up. Get his 2 points and move on.
Wemby in year 3 is top 5 player maybe even top 3. If he stays healthy GOAT is absolutely going to be on the table. Him giving props to Jokic being best offensive player in the world is huge compliment. Remember guys English is not his first language and the French are very straight forward. People that think this is a backhanded complimebt are just so being salty.
throwing shaid
Who’s the best offensive player they have? Jamal Murray? Wemby specifically said it’s not Jokić few weeks ago.
Didn’t know Luka played for the nuggets?
