I think what’s impressive is not just making the playoffs but staying relevant as the main guy across different teams and eras The 2010s had a lot of stars who burned out or missed multiple years Harden somehow keeps showing up.
His versatility and longevity are incredible, he’s filled his necessary role extremely well on so many different rosters. One of the most flexible guards ever.
Younger harden might not have been able to do that but he has really evolved his game and ability to be part of a team. Much respect to harden.

Making it on different teams is less impressive, though. If you jump from contender to contender or even just from pretender to pretender, there’s a higher chance to make playoffs in the good period you stay with that team.
Making 17 times playoffs with the same team is way harder, escpetially in a row, because it’s less frequent for a team to be dominant for such a long period.

And let’s not act like he’s been traded to ideal situations every time either. He’s managed to do it despite some terrible injury luck to his teammates in both Philly and LA.
Idk man, I think it’s pretty incredible to do that for 17 straight years in such a competitive and physically demanding sport/league.

I feel the exact opposite. They’ve been just barely beating lottery and play in teams and getting destroyed by contending teams. They couldn’t figure out the lakers defense at all. They got destroyed by the thunders g league team and struggled tonight against the warriors g league team.
