Also every time they play each other Shai can hunt Luka. Even if Luka had 4 elite defenders with him they would give Shai the ball and do everything possible to get Luka to switch on him and then it’s bbq chicken or a double team that makes the game 4 on 3
Dort has been really good against Luka historically. Even in the playoff series we lost SGA outplayed Luka.

It doesn’t even out at all. The Lakers don’t have good individual defensive players outside of Smart, but OKC has an entire roster of elite defensive players, so the Lakers missing Smart hurts a lot more than OKC missing Caruso.
