Of our 11 players, 8 are guards. Our 3 “bigs” are actually just standard wings. One of the guards is a bit of a tweener I guess.

Grizz started off top 3 in rebounding. After Edey went down we had 6’5 Konchar playing the center position. He and VW3 would get alot of boards then we traded them away.

After the Spurs played the Grizzlies last week, Chris Vernon, I think, mentioned that the Grizz didn’t get a single offensive rebound until the fourth quarter. If that hadn’t happened, that would have been the first game ever where at least one Grizz player hadn’t secured an offensive rebound.

~~Also, the Warriors secured no offensive rebounds against the Spurs last night. lol~~ I must have been imagining this Warriors stat.

I’m genuinely stunned that the 22-23 Thunder didn’t have a game in the bottom 25 on Statmuse. After Chet lost his first year to a foot injury, we spent all season relying on a very raw JWill and a 6’6ish Kenrich Williams at the 5 and were notoriously bad on the boards.

I’m kind of excited for the expansion but Tracy McGrady is right, there isn’t enough talent in the league for it. The amount of teams that you wouldn’t even pay to watch this year is wild. Teams tanking has become an absolute joke.

OKC made a trade that they had no idea how it would turn out. Clippers gave up the farm for Paul George. Many teams have made these trades and not had it work out. Now OKC will face what any good team faces with lots of great players on the roster and that’s paying them so they don’t leave. That will change for OKC.

It’s easy to say now that they made the right move. SGA has gone above and beyond expectations. But as any good team comes to a point, OKC will get picked apart by guys going after more money. But the level of talent on rosters top to bottom is just not there. Wizards don’t have anyone to build around, Jazz don’t, and we can keep going down the list.

Feel free to build around AD (or as Barkley calls him “street clothes”). Trae is a good shooter and ball handler but doesn’t lift his team up. Sarr is a beast but he won’t lead a team to winning. If they had the talent they wouldn’t be tanking as hard as they are. Injuries play a big factor of course but when players exhibit a tendency to constantly be injured you can’t rely on that.

AD and Trae don’t need to be long term players, the multiple great young players are why they have things to build around.

The Wizards are not gonna be good next year, possibly not even the year after that, but in 3 or even 2 years I think they could be really good. Not contenders but at least a real playoff team that could be the 6th-5th seed

Last night, the Grizzlies had one of the worst rebounding games in NBA history. Even with Mitchell Robinson not playing for the Knicks, the Grizzlies managed only 20 total rebounds. In 79 NBA seasons, only 5 teams have ever had fewer rebounds in a game.
