So nba awards at their core are popularity contests so when popular players dont win it upsets people, which doesnt really bother me but i think i am in the minority. Most voters are pretty surface level voters focusig on top 5 per game stats, so if we stop doing what we are doing now I think the only other option would be dividing players per game stats by 82 games and then multiplying them by how many games they actually play should highlite how missing games fuck over fans amd show the importance of showing up.

I am likely in the minority, but shit man i work hard I make good money but taking 2-4 other people in my family to a game costs 600-800 bucks when its all said and done for shit seats and bad food (which is real money) and limits how many games we can actually go to, so when they just sit out players it sucks man.
