Google overview is telling me current SGAs TS% is slightly better than 2016 curry. Not sure which number is right, but SGA is more efficient on turnovers. TS is a weird metric bc even tho both players have similar TS, how they get their number is so different. SGAs is primarily due to FT, where Steph’s is due to high 3 volume. It’s a good debate tho, would you rather have prime curry or SGA on your team. One is better defensively and less turnover prone, the other is the best off ball player in history. I think it comes down to fit at that point, both are so great I can’t definitely say one is better than the other.

Generally I agree, but the issue with trying to account for era differences is that you can never be proven or disproven. Without a Time Machine we just don’t know how SGA would adapt to rules back then, and we don’t know how Kobe would adapt to today. But yea SGA gets so much advantage from his little chicken wing push off, you can argue what he does is legal according to today’s rules. But 10-15 years ago it’s getting called as an offensive foul, LeBron and Steve Nash both talked about how the rule has changed so much from when they started playing.

This is a dumb way to think because that’s not a hypothesis that can ever be proven.

What he’s doing in his era is on the same level or better than those guys so far.
