Evangelicals have warped Christianity into something it never was simply because they fail not only to understand Jesus (who never commented on homosexuality) but the linguistics and cultural commentary that the Bible makes with those versus. For example, when the bible mentions a man laying with a man, the original Greek used different words for “man” and the second one meant essentially “slave boy”… so what the verse was actually condemning was force and pedastry.
Oh , well. Its just a shame so many people want to use a religion of compassion to justify their hatred, but it’s no surprise in a world where the Secretary of Defense believes he is setting the stage for the apocalypse…. Even though in the Bible, the army’s of the earth are mislead by mislead leaders and are there to battle Christ… not for him. It’s such a joke.

So just to clarify, everyone’s hating Jaden Ivey now because of possible mental illness and him stating his fundamental Christian religious beliefs out loud (which considers homosexuality sinful) correct? So we are also against Muslims as well then? Since they consider homosexual acts to be haram? What about the Palestinians who would happily decapitate someone holding a ‘free Palestine’ banner if they happened to be gay? Somalians, Iranians, Afghanis, and most African countries (to name a few) would for sure imprison and/or execute someone for the crime of being homosexual. So let’s not hold double standards here just because his obviously mentally ill state caused him to say what the majority of non western civilization believes. The double standards and contradictions that get echoed through this circular firing squad of a platform are laughable.
