[Highlight] Victor Wembanyama hits the stepback 3-pointer to close out the first half. He has 21 points (8⁄15 FG) and 12 rebounds for the Spurs.
He had a double double in the 1st quarter
In 9 minutes
33pts in like 19 minutes y’all.
And only 4 free throws
I was under the impression you couldn’t do that.
Not MVPs numbers tbh. Needs like 12 more FTA
But he’s playing less minutes. Boooo. /s
All the Thunder fans who were making daily posts at the start of the season about how SGA is the MVP, because he doesn’t play fourth quarters, all of a sudden think you can’t be MVP if you don’t hit an arbitrary number of minutes played
Fucking 2k my career numbers, what the fuck?
Goddamn 33 points in 19 minutes is nuts. He really stepped up his offense game, he wants that MVP.
Ended with 41
Impressive stuff. He’s capable of really going off with the scoring, once he’s more consistent in the future… yeah, league is his lol.
Not even halfway to 83. He was OK, I guess.
okay I’m curious why a bunch of the spurs players suddenly decided to wear headbands, feels like something I do with the boys at the office just for lols
They asked KJ in the post game and that was essentially his answer. “We were bored”
Fox started it because he wore one in HS and a bunch of them joined in
man now I gotta see a clip of this interview
The other day they all wore orange shoes
They just vibin’ with each other.
MVP ⭐️
Fuck MVP, Best player in the league.
playoffs is the time to prove that. He can easily do it, but thats the arena.
MVP!
hey brotha, I think it might be time to get the flair going with how much campaigning you be doing. either that, or at least make the profile public
MVP numbers, maaaan!
weMVP
Guy is gonna swoop in and steal the mvp right at the finish line
I wonder if his monk buddies are watching. And if they are, are they just as blown away by this guy as I am? Fucking A this guy is good
MVP
This is what happens when you max out height and still have guard skills.
Finished with 41 points with the final bucket being a filthy poster dunk
A casual Wemby stepback creates like 5+ feet of separation.
No hate. Wemby is unbelievable to watch.
From a pure rules perspective, is the quick two-step and then jump back onto two feet technically a travel? In the replay it looks like an extra shuffle step is taken. Not that the league would ever call this, I’m just curious
So he has an extra step in there with his left foot but it looks like he actually delays his gather until that step is going down and his right foot is coming up. If that’s the case it’s not a travel.
If he gathers before that left foot goes down then I think it’s a jump stop as the left foot would be considered step one. The gather step rules + jump stop confuse me a bit and I don’t think I’ve ever seen actual clarification from the NBA on them. If he had planted right and then left instead of at the same time it’s a travel if you consider the gather too early.
Interesting! Thanks for that
Possibly but I think rule of cool would apply here
Donne une carte à Yabusele
They’re gonna have to raise the rim lmao
I’m a Spurs fan till I die but this looks like a travel to me 😭
