PP has excelled because he’s fast as shit on the court and has insane stamina, plus an utterly crisp handle. If he had size like some of the other guys I’m not sure if he focuses and develops all the fundamentals he excels at. His ability to move around on the court is insane

I hooped in the same club as him growing up and he’d shoot around the world shots around the key for hours. Specifically a 2ft jumpshot standing on the block. And it was a miss if he didn’t swish it. It’s not easy to shoot a full free throw motion from that distance and still have good touch/rotation on the ball. Try it. It’s a great way to dial in your shot.

I totally stole that from him and still do it to this day every single time I go to hoop (today in fact). You should be able to flick your wrist with full force from that short of a distance and have perfect touch on your shot and swish it every time.

That’s why I’m not surprised in the slightest that he’s automatic from the paint. Those are shots I have literally watched him practice countless times with my own eyes.

Any nephews reading this: dial in your touch from every distance, not just 3pt, FT’s, deep midrange. You should have as good of touch on your jumpshot from 2ft as you do from 20. Pritchard is showing you first hand how valuable that is.
