Definitely looks like he bulked up some. He’s pretty consistently gotten bigger over the years, seeing clips of him and JB in their rookie seasons is jarring.
He looks good for someone who tore their Achilles less than a year ago, but hes still playing like shit. This is one of his very few good games since he’s come back

Seeing Dejounte Murray now, and KD before him, I think the modern medicine might have solved the Achilles. The guys are moving well, not just stat wise but someone coming back from coma after the playoffs last season might not even realize Tatum came back from an injury.

Yeah it’s not like he’s been bedridden for the last year. He’s been actively recovering since the day after surgery probably. With millions being invested into that recovery. And his in the prime of of his life.
As long as the Achilles is healed, you should assume the rest of him is ready to go and get it all back once he gets enough volume in to feel like his old self again.
Tatum has always refused to sit if he feels he’s 100%.
He’s openly talked about it before, stating one of the reasons is people pay tickets to go watch them, and some kid could be there for him specifically. He doesn’t wanna sit unless he 100% has to.

No Brown, No White, and Mazzulla is slowly ramping Tatum back to his normal workload. He played 36:24 on average last year and played ~31 minutes tonight so he’s getting closer

As a C’s fan this was definitely a test. We were missing Brown… and White. The first is a top ~5 play in the league and the second has absurd +/- and advanced stats. So to win this so convincingly is definitely interesting. I don’t think NY beats this version of the C’s, assuming that both teams are healthy.
