[Highlight] The Toronto Raptors go on a 31-0 run, turning a 20-14 deficit into a 45-20 lead & making history as the longest unanswered run in NBA history
If you told me before the game the 2026 Toronto Raptors’ offence would set this record, I would have told you to put the crack pipe away
To be fair it’s the defense that sets this record too. They allow 1 point and it doesn’t happen. If the offense doesn’t score 1 possession the streak still continues.
Gotta give Orlando’s offense some credit too
And their defense.
shout out to basketball
Yea this kind of record requires quite a bit of luck and boneheaded play from your opponent. One of those layups almost broke the run early
What if I told you that someone on the Miami Heat dropped 83 in a single game this season?
Did LeBron go back there?! /s
Someone dropped 83, and we all collectively thought ‘wow that’s neat’ and basically forgot about it the next day.
Raptors defense is the key element to this 31pt record
good defense + transition offense = heaven
Ofc it’s important but ORL missed a lot of open shots and committed a number of unforced turnovers.
wow
Why don’t they go 31-0 every game are they stupid?
Magic looking like Cam Boozer out there
The Raptors are a fun team to watch this season
Not always, Tbf 😅 When they show up aggressive, definitely.
There are definitely some games where it gets really ugly, but for the most part it’s been fun watching the Raps this year. Scottie is a future DPOY in the making man
Thank you for posting this. I heard about the 31-0 run but couldn’t imagine what the fuck Orlando was doing
This should be a video of all the defensive stops for the Raptors within that period.
Absolute cinema
Used to pray for times like this. I remember watching the knicks go on a 20+ unanswered run and wanting to die
That announce seemed rather nonplussed
did the magic coach never call a timeout to try to stop the run?
He took two TOs, I think
Bro how
That defense when locked in puts you in a clamp
This is insane
of course it’s mah-man Mamu.
hope you folks in Canadia are lovin’ him.
Oh we absolutely do. I just hope we can find a way to afford him next year
worth. every. penny.
I’m biased but I do believe there is a lot of talent on this Magic team… I can’t stand watching this coach and he is so incredibly bland he has no emotion no wonder the team didn’t respond
lmao
Not able to watch but did Mosley call time outs? Or did he let the points hemorrhage?
Two TOs
Ah fuck, you would think they would have locked in but Im kinda shocked
Two TOs and the break between quarters couldn’t stop this run it wasn’t all on Mosely
Oh no I agree with you, just usually when a coach calls a TO usually they manage to get some adjustments, but like 2 with no stopping the 31 downpour is brutal and demoralizing
Adjustments is not a word in the Jamal Moseley vocabulary. We had a player go -32 with 6 to’s in 8 minutes and Moseley kept playing him.
Was it Paolo with the TO’s?
Jamal Cain, who played a lot of his minutes with Paolo.
They couldn’t even shoot a midrange jumper.
Really wanna see Orlando’s possessions
dawg they were ABYSMAL, looked exactly like the Salt Lake City Stars we played a week ago. just passed us the ball and let us run in transition all game.
you saw half of them in this video
why is it 1⁄3 of the screen wtf
How the fuck can you be that deep into a run and still be making such lazy passes?
Clearer than my NBA PREMIUM PACKAGE STREAM
Fun fact, Mavs had tied with the previous best 30-0 run in 2023 with a 4th quarter run against the Thunder that erased a 24-point deficit… They lost the game.
what the fuck?
I’ve never seen a 5 on 1 in the NBA before
I can’t believe I legitimately thought at one point the Magic could be a strong contender post Bane trade.
I’ll never understand the consideration
Like, playoff team? Sure, but good lord that overpay ensured they had zero flexibility if the Bane trade ended up not being the needle mover they thought it was
Money money money
