You can’t just rewrite history like that. He was really struggling at the beginning with multiple turnovers and shooting in the low 30% from 3. It wasn’t out of the ordinary to see him with 5 turnovers and around 32%. in october and november (before he was out for a few games) he averaged 35⁄8.7⁄9 with 2 stocks on 61% TS% and 4 TOs a game. be for real lol, he “struggled” by his standards in December and that was it, the start of his season was insane

Cute how you dodged the fact that he opened the year casually dropping 40 a night. Yeah, his November splits dipped, but calling his impact ‘bad’ just screams ‘I only read box scores.’ When his shot was off, he clamped down and played the best defense of his career to keep us winning. Watch the games.
Edit: just want to add that even when his shot dipped a bit, he shot through it and has still led the lakers in scoring in 55⁄61 games so far this season including tonight, and taking a fat steaming dump on the rest of the league in offensive output.
