Only approximately 3% of male names in the U.S. start with the letter “K”. However, 4 of the 5 top scorers in NBA history start with K: Karl, Kobe, Kareem, and Kevin. The only exception is King James.
Obviously a hugely relevant NBA fact that no one is talking about.
Technically Kareem was born “Lew”, but he changed it to “Kareem” when he realized it would help his scoring.
