At one point last season Angel was leading the league in rebounding if you would completely ignored her offensive rebounds lol meaning she had more defensive rebounds than anybody else had total rebounds

She’s played 2 seasons in the WNBA and significantly improved her shooting percentages in year 2. She’s still a work in progress imo.

She’s also probably All-Defense level that can switch 1-5 (one of the few defenders that can also hold up in isolation against people like A’ja and Colier). And good rebounder kind of undersells it, she’s a generational rebounder.

She’s closer to Dennis Rodman with a mediocre scoring game and decent playmaking than she is to a Tristan Thompson.

She’s arguably already the best rebounder ever for the woman’s game. She’s also an excellent defensive player.

Scoring isn’t everything. (Though she does do that too)

Angel benefited immensely in terms of marketing from CC. Her game is what it is and she would’ve had the same WNBA success with or without the ties to Caitlin, but her brand is almost entirely associated with their “rivalry”.

His sister can’t make layups. If he can do that he’s got her beat.

Dude neither of these bums are comparable to how dominant I was in Coral Springs basketball club as 3’11 tall 8 year old.  I once had 12 points and 5 assists in a game, which was impressive given most games we were lucky to score 20 as a team. My only real competition was this kid named Warren who, if my memory is correct, was an 8 foot tall 9 year old.  But I used my speed and agility to better him. I once dribbled between his legs.  Not the ball. My whole body. The top of my head just barely missing getting grazed by his nuts. 

It matters not if the very best WNBA player would struggle against an average men’s high school team. Pound for pound/peer for peer, my run in Coral Springs was unmatched.

Everyone is going to miss shots would you rather she miss the shots and then just let the other team get the rebound and take possession? Hell Moses Malone had a top 20 all time career, and a lot of his game was rebounding his own misses. This discourse is stupid as shit to me because if you are going to miss a shot, getting your own offensive rebound is objectively a good basketball play and I hate that people are trying to pretend otherwise.

46% isn’t really bad for WNBA players considering the volume and how much was self-created, even for a post player. It’s below average, but the elite finishing post players are like 50-52%.
