He’s doing it on a bad team while playing an outsized role in a position he’s not really meant for, too.
It’s why I think he still deserves ROY over Kon. Kon has been fantastic, but he’s really only being asked to do what he’s best at: shoot. Flagg is trying to run an entire offense as the primary handler, facilitator, and scoring threat while surrounded by less than stellar talent.

Disagree. Kon is being asked to do one thing: shoot. Flagg is being asked to run an entire offense and play high level defense at the other end on. Kon is on a borderline playoff team. Flagg is on an awful Mavs team.
I think what Flagg is doing is more impressive.
I’d argue that Mavs is forcing Flagg to be the main offensive engine to develop thus having more touches and such.
