I still believe in him, cuz I mean more bashing isn’t gonna solve anything. Although he wants to keep that contract money intact, I feel like he wanted to prove it to himself that he could play that many games and really be there for his team, which he hasn’t been since he came in the league.

So I’m happy for him, and hope he plays this amount of games minimum for years to come.

Timing has been fucking awful. Like the year he played 70 games, going out in the Laker game when he was looking absolutely unstoppable, yamming it in over AD and LeBron? Just terrible way for it to go down.

Now this year, too; Zion is finally healthy and you have Dejounte Murray missing the large majority of the season, Herb Jones in and out of the lineup, Looney and Poole being kind of a mess (not that anyone wouldn’t have expected that), and of course the coaching change between Willie Green and James Borrego.

The team playing as it is right now would definitely have a chance at a playoff spot. Really hoping they can pull it together for next season - would love to see another healthy Zion year alongside some growth from the rookies Fears and Queen, and the up and comers Missi and Matkovic. Could be a formidable team under the right circumstances… but of course we’ve been saying that for years
