IF* Lebron leaves LA, then:

1. San Francisco is a nearby city to be able to come back to see his family often

2. Warriors are mediocre so it’s not like he’s forming a super team. Any success they have would be a plus, but any failure would simply be “old man LeBron joined a bad team so what do you expect.”

3. Media engagement. Holy cow, huge numbers of fans and media members would be in love from day 1.

4. Great way to wrap up Lebron’s story. Much better than the awkward slow decline as he becomes the third, then fourth, then fifth best player on the Lakers/Cavs.

5. San Francisco is a great city to work in if you’re rich.

Literally the only place would be Cleveland just for the storybook ending aspect, other than that I see him staying especially with how I feel he has seen he can actually rest in games if needed and still have a competitive team.
