I think Lakers vs. Magic games are circled in his calendar due to basically the entire german national team playing for Orlando and Luka being his buddy. So this makes total sense.

Don’t know if it just me but I think I’ve watched enough of their videos on YouTube for them to be front and centre of my home page but I still somehow get more Inside videos.
Same. I noticed I wasn’t subscribed to “Sports on Prime” on YouTube which has all the vods.
YouTube doesn’t seem to factor in video watches as much anymore and I think they want you to sub to channels just to get the vods to show up in your feed now.
I just wish it wasnt tied to the jeff bezos cartel, but agreed. NBC I had high hopes for but is also bad, especially in-game commentators.
Inside hasn’t been great in a while, but there wasn’t any other real viable option. The Amazon show is good, the people are likable and like you said actually talks about the game instead of just going “I hate the Lakers” and “Rings” and “Fetch water” for the whole show, so we’re allowed to say that it isn’t good now instead of talking about how much of a national treasure Charles is because of a couple of okay soundbites from a otherwise bad product.
I can’t even watch Inside the NBA anymore. It feels like they got tired of the gig 5-10 years ago.
Their shenanigans aren’t funny anymore and are forced.

Dirk clearly values his relationship with Luka to that of the Mavs. And why wouldn’t he? Dirk is all about Loyalty and the Mavs have abandoned that culture. Dirk is still as Dallas guy and so is Luka in a lot of ways - but the Mavs are a completely different organization than they once were.
Dirk roots for Luka more than the Mavs right now and that’s how Mavs fans feel (unless they’re in a weird cope mood)

Dirk is kind of the MJ of Dallas Basketball - he made the sport relavent in a city dominated by football and Luka is kind of the Lebron - the guy who picked up the mantle and became the face of the city after Dirk retired.
