I’m really curious to see Jaden play some 4 if Randle leaves. He’s shown to be a great help defender and occasional rim protector when he’s had to. Jaden splitting time at the ³⁄₄ and Beringer taking the backup 5 minutes could be really nice.

Just need someone who can pick up the slack on the offensive end if Julius isn’t around. Not convinced Jaden or Naz can be as consistent as Julius.

What do you think you’re getting for Randle though? He’s got 2 full years on his contract (he’d probably take his player option), and unless he balls out in the playoffs you’re not getting value for him.

Maybe you can salary-dump him to the Bucks for someone like Kuzma, and that could help get below the apron. But that doesn’t make the roster better.

Not at all, good lord no of course keeping Ant. They barely have enough space to re-sign Ayo. Bones is playing his way into a much larger contract next season with the way he’s played for the Timberwolves this season. To keep both— and you’d assume that Ayo is a first priority, considering what a big acquisition he was for them— you’d have to make a difficult roster decision with one of the other guys in the rotation. Not saying it’s for sure worth it but if they continue to deliver like this for the Timberwolves in the playoffs, maybe you look at flipping one of the other guys to be able to guarantee you afford both.

There were two posessions in the last few minutes where they’re trying to come back and Tatum tries to do everything himself, just doesn’t pass the ball. Frustrating to watch, I know they were playing bad offensively in the 4th but forcing shots and trying to blow by everyone wasn’t great either.
