Kolek did it last year as well not as a crazy a stat line

It happens more than you think but they usually end up playing in the NBA game due to an injury or garbage time. Not often the player is being factored into the game plan if they just had to play 32 minutes against the Bakersfield Jam.

Caruso did it a few times with the Lakers I’m pretty sure before his big game that got overshadowed by Hejonas block on LeBron.

Honestly shocked Kolek played at all for the g league last night because he was definitely going to get good run against a team like the Wizards 70 games into the season

First time since this guy named Tyler Kolek did it on January 1st, 2025.

There’s been players who have played a g league and nba game in the same day but I doubt they scored this much across both games

4 of our players played both games today. The right conditions have to happen. Meaning both teams have to be at home playing at different hours. And gleague team has to be within driving distance of nba arena. And nba game usually has to be a blowout. Damyean Dotson did it for us a few years back also.

Happens alot more often now that gleague teams are closer to the big league teams. Happened in Toronto a lot last couple of years. Malachi Flynn and J Mogbo were one of them.

Drew Eubanks did it for the Spurs.

Oscar Tshiebwe did it for the jazz last year and grabbed 30! Rebounds in the gleague game. And then played for the jazz at night.

Max shulga also did it for Celtics today. First Celtics to ever do it. But that drive is almost 2 hours from Portland to Boston. He must’ve been flying to make the night game.

Jordan Farmar was the first to do it in 2007.

Hes out of the rotation in favor of Alvarado who has been solid as backup PG with defensive energy, then Clarkson has been getting more run in the past few games as well (and we still have Deuce on IL for quite a bit). Kolek will get some minutes if Hart or Brunson are out for a game and I like his minutes but generally the lineups with Alvarado has been solid.

Yeah unfortunately hasn’t been getting that much run. But usually doesn’t play in gleague unless both teams are in town. They had 4 guys play both games today just to get some run but also to be ready for tonight.

None of them would’ve been relegated to gleague if they or us were away.

For real, with Deuce still out, they need Kolek to continue to get real experience. I haven’t watched much of Jose yet, but is he a legit PG or more of an undersized 2? I know his role is mostly to disrupt with his defense so not sure how good his ball handling is.
