I think it can come across has him bluntly informing an ignorant JT that he’s not just Robin to his Batman as many fans still imply or may have thought previously. Knowing JB, the convo for sure didnt go that way but I could imagine some bad actors or non followers could think that’s what he said.

the Celtics just managed most of this season pretty well without Tatum tbh
They’re competitive with one of them. They’re contenders with both of them.
When Tatum and Brown are healthy, they’re 5⁄6 on making it to the conference finals in their careers. 2021 Brown was hurt, 2025 Tatum got hurt, 2019 is the only year they really disappointed and that was more Kyrie’s team than theirs.
We’ll see how Tatum looks coming back from the achilles in the playoffs when things ramp up, but this duo is a proven winner.

That’s fair, I can definitely see Jayson Tatum playing up to full form but I won’t lie sometimes he has inconsistent scoring stretches which have always been a gripe with me considering his frame and stature, but he makes up for it with everything else he does. Hes an elite all around player
That’s also been Browns problem except he isn’t as good as Tatum. Brown is still a great all around player too though.
I agree with this and JB has taken a step forward this year, so the past may not be as relevant a comparison now.

The East is honestly wild. Right now Orlando, Charlotte, and Atlanta look terrifying while the top four look to be in various levels of disarray and panic… and then Toronto is just there, I guess? I have no idea whatsoever is going to happen in the East playoffs.

Entering tonight, he was averaging 16.9 shots per game in games with Tatum. Tatum has been taking more shots than Brown despite shooting under 40% from the field. And Brown has also been averaging 6 assists per game with Tatum on the floor. So Brown is shooting the ball a good bit less (for the year, he’s averaging 21 shots per game) and passing the ball more since Tatum returned.
Because Browns better and I’m glad the he himself is finally acknowledging that. Notice he said me and you instead of you and me. He put himself first in the pecking order, as he should.
