Defensive 3 seconds is the most inconsistently called violation in the rulebook. There are plenty of rules that go largely unenforced, but defensive 3 seconds is the one that seems to just depend on the referee’s mood in terms of whether they want to be strict about it or not.

Did they give an explanation for that “block” Banchero had on LeBron? I’d love to see their reasoning for that. I did think it was funny that he taunted right after and then immediately got burned though lol

The fact they’re trying to dismiss LeBron being fouled on the 2nd last shot, has made me lose all confidence in these reports. You can look at the replay upclose in HD, Paolo smacked his entire arm and didn’t even touch hand or ball. It was a make-up “missed” call, but they cant acknowledge they do that.

They’re still hiding information and only letting out enough to “please” the masses.

Refs never call defensive 3 seconds or travels or carrying as much as it actually happens throughout the course of an NBA game and NOW they want to say it was missed? Lol ok NBA

Hope we arent bitching and moaning about the same 3-second calls that are almost never called in every other game. I did notice Ayton was in the paint for a long time before an offensive player even came close to him, and that was one 3-second call I think should’ve been called. Then on the block that Banchero had on Lebron, if that were initially called a foul, then that call would most likely stand too given how much of a gray area contact after the ball is released/blocked is okay. I feel like this game wasn’t really that one sided reffing-wise

The refs were against the Lakers the whole game but some missed calls or incorrect calls at the end means it was rigged for the Lakers lol.

I am starting to think that the NBA has too many rules for refs to follow at all times during games. Does any ref actually count to 3 whenever a defensive player stands inside the paint? I doubt it. I just think they should have a separate ref crew watching the game on a monitor to call these timed rules and allow the on-court refs to call fouls and other things. The responsibility is literally too high. Too many things to pay attention to that they are guaranteed to miss a quarter of them.

The last 2 minute report is a fucking joke. That non call on bron was a clear and obvious foul but they rules it correct. But they add defensive 3 seconds violations here that almost never gets called anyway

I want to see public consequences for bad refereeing, especially when it always seems to be big market teams getting these types of calls.

My biggest wish is to see a ref box score showing not just good/bad calls, but time of game, pivot points, national vs non national games and Vegas odd splits.
