On the contrary, I wish refs started calling carries and allowed the defender to actually play defense. The offensive player is given too much protection and, too many times, it’s play to get to the line and not play to make the shot.

I think the reason OKC gets more criticism is because of how much they are allowed to get away on defence. Lakers and Nuggets players don’t get nearly as much leeway when playing defence as Dort, Caruso and other OKC players get. SGA whistle would not look nearly as bad if okc got called for much more defensive fouls.
