With Zubac out for the rest of the season he will have missed 26 games as a Pacer. Add in the 7 he missed this season with LAC and that’s 33 games he’s missed this season. He missed 28 games as a Clipper before this season

Did the Clippers pawn off damaged goods to the Pacers? Zubac is 7 feet t all and pushing 30, and we know how 7 footers with injury issues age. Mathurin been balling out for the Clippers and they might get Darius Acuff or Kingston Flemings too? Sheesh

He was out for a month with the pacers with an ankle sprain, he could have probably played through it if needed, but it wasn’t so they rested him. Also a fractured rib is a fractured rib, idk what to say… the man got hit hard and fractured a rib, not entirely a look into the future.

Need a new player agreement for teams that do not make the playoffs where the top 5 contracts on that team can have the team elect that off-season window to make non guaranteed and cut said player from roster, this would solve a lot of problems that the NFL solved with bag getters.

Of all the players drafted within the 5 to 10 in the last 5 years, I would rather have than zubac is franz wagner, maybe Anthony black and maybe deni avdija. If anything he is underrated. And the nba draft is overrated. All-stars don’t grow on trees, and being a lottery team is overrated. Unless you have a top 5 pick, which the pacers still have

A top tier defender on possibly the best contract in the NBA who can give you ¹⁷⁄₁₂ as your 4th scoring option. Not to mention the Pacers haven’t had a guy who could rebound in a long time and that’s Zubac’s best quality.
