I really feel like he’s got the highest ceiling of anybody in the draft. I can see how Boozer might be seen as the safer choice though.

I feel like Dybantsa or Peterson would both be a better fit for Indy than Cam.

I probably would take Dybantsa, but Boozer does seem like he would fit in with their style of offense very immediately. Not that they should draft for fit, I just do think Boozer is a uniquely good fit with the Pacers approach.

I feel like they need someone with that potential they don’t really have an elite iso scorer.

Yeah i also prefer Dybantsa here, he’s a more agile Myles Turner

Who do you see the org taking? I’ve always thought Cam Boozer’s court vision would be something that fits the Pacers/Carlisle philosophy. He can read the floor pretty well.

Pretty much where I am. If we land any pick in the top 4, I’m happy. Any of Boozer/Dybansta/Peterson/Wilson are good to me. Some may fit better than others, but one is better than none in this case.

I’m trying to not sit in the pit of dispare but it seems impossible that the Clippers dodge heavy punishment. If they do, Silver will get them the pick. It’s an augmented version of the Mavs. He won’t just let the fan base die.

Maybe Garland and Benn plus our future picks he can see as enough.

I don’t think a ball dominant scorer with defensive questions makes much sense on a Haliburton led team. Dybantsa will be awesome on a team built around him, but Indy is a rough fit.

Probably higher floor but lower ceiling.

I can see them trading down for him more than taking him at #1 overall. Indy wants to compete next year if Hali can go not in 3 years. AJD and Peterson aren’t as likely to be elite next year as Cam.

Probably could get Cam and maybe another 1st or maybe something crazy like Giannis in exchange for #1 overall in the best draft.

Interesting to see if Cooper and Kon being so good this year helps Cam’s stock.

Probably Siakam at 3 since his foot speed is better. Lineup would be nasty though for sure

Yeah I have no idea how Boozer would be a better fit with Zubac and Siakim than AJ. AJ, Siakim, Zubac is an incredible modern day front court. Boozer in that spot instead would be an incredible front court in 2008. He’d fit fine, but it isn’t a better fit than AJ

It’s just that two guard is loaded for us. We haven’t had a great wing since PG, and as much as I love Nesmith, that’s our obvious upgrade spot

Never draft for fit especially in the top 4. Always BPA, if they believe thats Boozer then they should do it.

Then you haven’t watched him play. Luka and Joker are proof that you don’t have to have a mix tape worthy set of dunks to be a great player. He’s a stretch 4 who can hang in the post and a fantastic passer. He may not have a 40-in vertical but he’s going to be a fantastic NBA player.

A non top 4 pick won’t help us next year at all and is where talent drops off. Hell, top 3 probably.
