We all make moral concessions daily

This is a debate that I think about:

Is it realistically possible to actually be a virtuous and morally just and morally consistent human being? Or is it more realistic that there will always be some potential edge case that a human being will make an exception for?

It is theoretically possible to refrain from consuming any product that causes human or animals suffering, cut out any friend or acquaintance that is an abhorrent evil human being, disengage and abstain from any action that affects other people negatively. But is such an existence so hyper-extreme and very prohibitive in being implemented that it is functionally unrealistic and functionally impossible? Is it more realistic that in order to have a life that allows for ease and enjoyment, we implicitly have to give concessions here and there and ignore and look the other way on things that should theoretically be morally unconscionable?

Should WWE fans just immediately drop WWE forever if there’s ever been a single guest invitee that has had morally unconscionable actions? Does that mean the left-leaning fans of WWE have to drop it immediately once a guest does something anti-BLM? Does that mean the right-leaning fans of WWE have to drop it immediately once a guest does something pro-BLM? So WWE just loses its entire fan base forever because it brought on two guest stars people found issue with?

It’s virtue signaling, everything about the WWE is a moral concession, OP sounds like a dork complaining about Jelly Roll of all things related to the WWE.

They said “more left wing than you’d assume” not that WWE fans are lefty activists and they’re correct. Wrestling fans in general have always skewed as poorer than fans of most shoot sports which makes it a more moderate/left-wing audience.

It’s close but I give it to David Robinson. I would see how somebody would give the edge to Garnett but again, who really cares about these semantics? These are two of the greatest players of an era and KG played for 7 more seasons than Robinson.

KG gets a lot more benefit from recency bias. I don’t know anybody who watched both of them play and would say that KG is definitively the better player.
