KD is an amazing iso scorer who lacks qualities like leadership, but also lacks the ability to playmake and pass out of double teams. Tonight he looked good passing, but he’s never been a solid passer or a high IQ passer and that’s why all the teams he’s led have been so limited.

Been saying it since god damn 2017 and everyone is just now realizing it. Kevin Durant is closer to Carmelo Anthony than he is top 10 all time.

“Unguardable” is not a thing and everyone pretends that because he is 7 foot and has a jumper that literally every shot he takes is going to go in the basket and there’s just no answer. Not only is KD one of the lowest ceiling “GOAT Scorer” candidates, but he does not possess a single other skill that elevates his team.

He can give you 35 on 60% shooting once a week and 25 on 50% every other day. Awesome. That isn’t unstoppable. He can’t pass better than any average SF, he can’t defend at as high of a level as people like to believe, he doesn’t do shit but give you efficient scoring with a low ceiling. 55 point career high for “the most unguardable player in history!!!1!1!” Give me a fucking break.
