It’s been this way for years, even before he got traded for the Lakers. First it was guys like Trae, then Ja, Booker, then over the years in some order we start hearing about Tatum, Brunson, Ant, Brown, Cade and Shai. Only Shai seems to walk out with a W, and that’s with having an absolutely incredible team that just gets better and better. If he was unlucky and had a worse team, then played against Boston 24, odds are, he would get a lot more shit for some of his terrible shooting nights in the playoffs

Complaining is an issue but don’t think it impacts the game so much as some. Defense and weight were issues at time but overblown, especially given his offensive load because of bad rosters. People reacting to a temporary bad shooting %’s to start, calling him a ball hog, or saying he can’t win big is just utterly ridiculous and shouldn’t have been entertained given his offensive greatness and bad rosters in comparison to Shai, etc and his playoff success

I’m always a sucker for true no look passes. More often than not the Lookaway pass gets credited as a no look pass but this really shows how different that is.
