[Highlight] Jonathan Kuminga hits a full-court shot to end the quarter
That’s gotta be what, 80 feet?
The free throw line would be 79, so yeah, 80 give or take
damn, top 10 longest shot ever?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_longest_NBA_field_goals
Based on this T-5 or 6th
It’s listed at #8 on that list
Someone added that fast lol. But that’s wrong. It’ll get updated.
Nah, seems pretty accurate. It’s 75 feet from one FT line to the opposite baseline and then minus a bit over 5ft from that baseline to the center of its basket. He was pretty much straight on, so it just comes down to how many feet he was behind the FT line and five seems about right.
I remember somebody tossed it straight in the net in-bounding after opponents scored. I believe that’s not allowed, so it didn’t count.
Yeah, we had that happen several years ago back, but it was a side out of bounds so not near as far
They probably meant Jae Crowder that was full court
Jae crowder for the Celtics I think it was?
Celtics legend
Don’t think it counts cause it was a turnover lol
Just reminded me of that Baron Davis full court hook shot, which was perhaps coincidentally, the last time the Hornets were relevant until about a month ago.
I still remember that Baron Davis one clear as day, that shit was crazy.
Surprised that Jokic from last year vs Kings isn’t on there
71 feet
Bro it didn’t even bank. Might be the cleanest full court shot ever
Baron Davis.
Yah but that was a lob. This was a line drive straight into the back of the net.
Oh my bad. I didn’t know the cleanest full court shot depended on the arc. Is Drummond’s enough of a line drive for you?
Yeah to me cleanest would be the closest to a swish, and Baron Davis’s shot is more of a swish than Kuminga’s.
I thought you were talking the half court game winner against the spurs as the 8 seed back in the day…then I searched it and realised that was stephon marbury, the Suns, and it wasn’t from half court but a runner. My memory isn’t what it used to be
For how ridiculously shallow the throw was that’s crazy. The thing had barely any arc on it
Cause it was a pass and not a shot.
The Falcons are checking to see if Kuminga would like to attend their OTA’s lol.
I know why it happened, I’m just talking about the physics of it. The hoop is “smaller” when the arc is that shallow. The odds of it going in are crazy tiny.
This one from Jokic was pretty clean, and it’s actually a little further and he was actually trying to make it.

reminds me of that one harden had against the warriors in the playoffs right before the half, but it didn’t count
when I played in college we had an emergency end of game scenario play that we practiced that was a full court lob-basically this play. our coach’s direction to the passer was ‘just try to make it’ since nobody ever did and it ended up being pretty decent full court lobs. funny to see one go in
Lmao thank you for posting this. I’ve never seen anything like it
there was a game winner in brazil recently that was exactly this
https://www.instagram.com/p/DVylG2KFGZa/
Incredible. The fact that this was a game winning buzzer beater and like a super rushed rebound to jai alai heave off the other teams game winner miss is about as perfect as one of these can get.
I slowed it down and he also JUST gets it off in time.
Holy shit that is even wilder
That’s Argentina btw
its funny because i knew boca juniors is the football team in argentina and i still got that wrong. must’ve been the amount of green that I usually associate with brazile
Chef Curry on notice
Evan Turner did it like 15 years ago but not from half court.

It is the new longest made shot of the season at ~75 feet. The prior record was 64 feet by Miles Bridges on Jan 17th.
In fact it is the longest made basket since Ziaire Williams made a 79 foot shot on Jan 22, 2023 (though that was a bank shot).
Not cool enough. When was the last all net full court shot?
It didn’t count but Crowder threw an out of bounds play full court and it went in, he was on the celtics at the time.
Link?
pretty cool shot
Falcons, give this guy a call
Falcons only accept left handed QBs apparently
Who are also rather inaccurate, I’d like to see them do what Kuminga just did
You can knock Tua for a lot of things, but he is extremely accurate.
If you knock Tua too hard, he might forget his own name.
He even has a hurt knee
Buddy is one bad injury away from becoming the Falcons QB
not left handed, won’t work
There’s still time for him to Tua himself and just starting throwing left handed because of his abusive dad
buddy cant get off the bench in ATL
Nah, this Kuminga guy seems to be even better than the Buddy Hield person you mentioned
Kuminga botched an alley-oop lob from inside the paint
-Steve Kerr, probably
Benched for the rest of the season. “The ball is everything!”
that is going in his career lowlight reel for sure
This IS a missed lob though. Teammate would have been open with two seconds when he caught it.
The vibes are immaculate
I like seeing Kuminga happy man. Seems like a really nice guy
Except his family will eat so much food that your 10 billion dollar franchise will only be worth…well still 10 billion dollars.
That will never be not funny!
The tank streak rolls on 🫡
Warriors really gave us a guy who casually drains 3⁄4 court shots? Absolutely fleeced.
why didnt Kuminga simply do this for us every game???
Kerr wouldn’t let him
Kuminga desperately trying to tell Kerr that his money shot is actually 3⁄4 court shot and he should be able to get a green light to shoot it whenever he wants.
Is he stupid?
Kerr didn’t like that he made the shot. He was supposed to throw that to Steph
The better he does, the worse warriors and kerr look. They can’t justify what they did to him anymore if he continues to do good.
This is the time when it would be fun for the media to ask Kerr in interviews lol.
What the hell lmao
Pass failed successfully.
The 80 foot Kum shot
I know he can’t love this nickname
Funniest part might be that the pass wasn’t even terrible. If that is literally anyone else on the team they would have likely stopped that from going in.
KUM BUCKET!!!!!
Player so ethical he gets rewarded with his passes going into the basket. god bless.
As a Warriors fan, I’m glad Kuminga’s free and is happy.
Warriors were really holding him back
Had QB1 potential
The next Matt Ryan
Best quarterback in Atlanta
Thank you for posting! Idk how to do it so I was hoping someone would 😂
that’s gotta be in the top 3 longest NBA shots ever right?
8th longest ever.
i’m actually surprised that it’s 8th. that’s a LONG ass shot
GSW been holding Kuminga back smh
Jock’s reaction is everything lol
Thanks Warriors!
😠 Congrats 😠 Happy for you 😠 nice
the best pass for 3 of all time
I like this guy
So Warriors fans will not be posting his stat line tonight?
16 pts, 7⁄11 fg, 2⁄3 from 3, 7 reb, 3 assist, +10 so prob not
Edit: 5 reb not 7
KP tonight 23mins, 11pts, 4/13fg, 2⁄7 3pt, 5reb, 2ast, 2stl, 2blks, +3 in a 21pt loss. Can’t throw shade when the player they got back throws up numbers like that. 😉 Warriors fans have to hold onto whatever wins they get because they come so infrequently these days. I’m a Warriors fan but have been rooting for JK since we got him. I will follow him and his career and will always be rooting for him. I hope he proves everyone who has ever doubted him, wrong without a doubt.
You’ll need to add 18 mins. He had 16/7/3 in just 18 minutes. Thats kinda nuts.
holy shit lmao
How had Kuminga been since the trade?
Injured but okay, he needs to get more chemistry
Totally what he meant to do
I need that Kuminga hater who only posts his bad stats to comment
What’s Steve Kerr’s alt?
This is one of the craziest shots in NBA history
INSAAAAAAANE
plot twist: it got tipped and this is a 0 foot shot
Well damn
Bro wtf
We could really use this guy right now!
Kuminga is to the Warriors what Antony was to Manchester United…
Both dudes are balling at their new homes.
Crazy fun
Why don’t NBA players just do this every time?
if the globe trotters are any indication… they could literally do this every day if they practiced it. no doubt in my mind…also tearing their rotator cuffs in half but shots would be made.
Are they stupid?
Was that close to a basket interference there? 31 for the Hawks almost touched the net.
did that count?
Absolutely did. The call afterwards was due to the play clock expiring after a made bucket so they added a bit of time and the Mavs inbounded and Klay took the official last shot of the quarter.
thanks. had to clarify because the ref was waving like they won’t count the basket
Task failed successfully
I will continue to say it every time one of these things happens… that is a 3⁄4 court shot NOT FULL COURT!
Clearly a pass attempt to me but lie and say you were shooting all the way.
Golden State wasted this Splash Baldy
Thats fantastic , im really happy for Kaminga getting a fresh start
no no guys im fine i swear
Totally meant to do that guys.
This does not have enough upvotes. This is rare
I’ve never seen kuminga smile so much before, and he won a championship! 😂
the big man touched the net, it should have been basket interference
Were the .500 Hawks the .500 Trae Youngs the entire time?
Damn. JK couldn’t make layups from 5 ft with GSW and now he’s hitting full court hail mary’s
Wow
he looked like he could do it 100 times out of 100 with his eyes closed
The Kum Bucket
You know vibes are immaculate when lol
Kum-BUCKET!
I just… wow
He wanted to make sure that nail was in the coffin… NO MERCY
It was not a shot.
The game log will say successful field goal attempt
Can’t argue on that.
It’s so funny watching the half time show of teens struggling to get the ball to the rim from the three point line and then seeing this.
It’s March Madness baby
Jonathan Itwentinga
It’s meant to be a lob/pass right? lol But it was so CLEAN
All those years playing with Steph taught him some things.
Why doesn’t he do that every possesion?
This is what you can do without steve kerr bitching in your ear
It was clearly a pass attempt failed
Being around Curry all those years I’m not surprised
Magnets. It’s got to be magnets.
Big Kum Bucket!
early magnet activation
Warriors’ fans in shambles
Thanks coach Kerr
If only he had BBIQ like the rest of our roster.
if only BBIQ was winning the Warriors games while Hawks on 11-game win streak
