It seemed like he was sitting the entire 4th quarter when they were down, but especially when he pulled the starters he seemed to just sit there looking miserable and not saying anything.

Kerr’s resting face just looks like that. He’s been getting incredible production out of bench guys since Steph/Jimmy have been out but the team just isn’t talented enough, hustle can only get you so far.

There’s not much for Kerr to coach tbh. They’re down Butler, Curry, Curry, Horford, Moody and Cryer. They’ve called up 3 G Leaguers who have all played roughly. 5-10 minutes each.

I disagree. Young end-of-bench development guys need a lot of coaching if they’re going to go anywhere. Especially game experience.

It’s not the only difference, of course, but there’s a stark difference between the Celtics, where Mazulla is up and around coaching young talent, and the Warriors, where Kerr is sitting quiet and looking miserable for the last 5+ minutes of games.

It obviously wasn’t going to change the outcome of the game, but that’s short term thinking.

I believe they are cooked in the sense that I don’t think their FO/Coaching is very good. There’s not too many examples of solid development from anyone they’ve drafted the last few years.

Don’t get me wrong some guys are fine role players but none that I would kill to have on my team or couldn’t find somewhere else in the league.

They’re cooked because when Curry goes their whole franchise identity goes with it. With no real idea of a future to come.
