[Highlight] Jaden McDaniels threw the ball at Devin Booker after a timeout was called. Booker returned fire at the Timberwolves bench, but the ref Suyash Mehta was there to grab the ball. No techs upon refs review
Jaden mcdaniels is leading the nba in total personal fouls this season and has fouled out 4 times lol.
Our big 3 are Jaden ‘Personal’ McDaniels, Anthony ‘Technical’ Edwards and Rudy ‘Flagrant’ Gobert
To be fair, I’ve seen an incredible amount of very soft calls on him and he generally stays quite calm about it
He’s the only elite defender that dosnt get that reputation whistle
If you just say the word “Luka,” Jaden gets called for two quick touch fouls.
I’m still surprised refs missed his double leg takedown on Luka in the playoffs.
He also owns the Suns
Kid is having an outstanding season
Somehow Dort has 70 less personal fouls
And notoriously dangerous KAT is one behind
Without looking, he’s also gotta be leading the league in delays of game by about 3x whomever is in 2nd place. My man loves to hold the ball after a lay up.
He gets in his head so often, he must lead the league in pointless frustration fouls
You can see those coming from a mile away too.
I think this was great reffing. Jaden got frustrated with Booker foul baiting (nothing egregious tho) but it wasn’t boiling over. Just two guys going at it & it didn’t boil over. Great job by ref.
Yea, neither of them stepped closer to each other at all. Both just threw the ball and kept walking to the bench, and importantly, they didn’t even throw it hard.
I dare you to find somebody that hates Devin Booker more than Jaden McDaniels
It’s so funny too how committed to it he is.
Two dudes in a long-simmering feud throwing the ball at each other after the whistle seems like a great time to hand out a double tech.
What is the history of the beef anyways?
Booker doesn’t care for the way Jaden parents him.
I think the 2024 playoffs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X3TBqiOArig
But they’ve had several run-ins: https://streamable.com/2wrfcz
Jaden owns Booker and they hate each other for it.
there’s legitimate animosity between the two and they play like it
In my opinion it stems from Booker & KAT & Dlo being friends. Booker used to come in every game, play well, and absolutely talk sooooo much fucking shit. Jaden had to guard him & I don’t think he liked that. Just my speculation tho
If they were weak passes, absolutely would be. I think you can still call them to keep the game in control and I wouldn’t complain if they did, but to me there were no signs that it would escalate at all. They both just toss the ball and then turn to go to their benches, didn’t seem like either were going to continue it or escalate or really care that much to me.
This is the ref that had the quick second tech for Jaylen brown the other night too
See how Book got a lot of contact an didn’t raise his hands or lay on the floor skipping going down court to play defense? It can be done.
This isn’t the game to bring that up considering he at one point had a major tantrum that directly lead to a Wolves bucket lol
Or the out of bounds play that was seemingly designed to allow Booker to flop and get free throws.
You don’t have to go back to play defense when there is a timeout called
I had no idea there was beef between Booker and Jaden McDaniels. Does Jaden even speak?
Gobert has quipped about it before
In terms of absolute tragedy, where does this rank all time compared to a double team in a pickup game?
Mehta World Peace
Suyash ‘Hall Monitor’ Mehta
Top tier reffing
Bookers daddy lmao. Been punking him for years now
I love it. The era of mickey mouse, friendship basketball has ended and certain teams and players legitimately hate eachother again. It is fun.
I’ll take ‘who gives a shit about this meaningless after the whistle play’ for 200 Alec
the softest shit I’ve ever seen why is this even a clip. Neither of the throws were malicious at all…
