The problem is that competition dunking isn’t just about explosiveness and max vertical, it’s also heavily reliant on how long you can keep your feet off the ground. In that regard he’s at a disadvantage because he’s pretty proportionately long-legged, even relative to other NBA players and more akin to Giannis, so that pretty much limits him to power dunking.
