So many elite, top tier defenders as your floor automatically guarantees you so much, anything you add to that is a bonus, and in this case its a good offense as well with good offensive players.

Boston @ OKC in ‘24 was the first time I was convinced that the Thunder were legitimate title contenders. Thunder pulled out a 127-123 win in a fantastic game!

SGA had 36/6/7, Giddey played phenomenally putting up 23/8/6, and Chet and JDub combined for 30 points on just 18 shots.

I turned on the game in the 4th with 5 min left. When he only had 10 points. It felt like his teammates were more concerned with his streak, and we’re helping but he wasn’t forcing shots. He was assisting, and then some shots of his fell but he wasn’t just desperately trying to scrape the 20

He just limits how bad his bad games so well. Yeh he missed a bunch of shots, but they at least have chances to go for offensive rebounds and second chance points.

The fact he limits his turnovers to 1 to go with 10 assists and gets blocks and steals on the other end. It means if OKC can grab offensive boards then he still gets close to neutral or even positive overall
