[Highlight] The Timberwolves are being careless in the back court, and Alex Caruso with a great read and steal (with a replay)
Not winning any games turning the ball over 30+ times
Watching this team is more frustrating than any other team in any other sport I’ve ever watched.
I totally understand if this comes off the wrong way but i cant imagine what its like watching the wolves do this against what i presume is your most hated team. I am genuinely sorry, i dont think minnesotta sports fans deserve this shit.
It’s less frustrating watching it against the Thunder than the Pelicans, Wizards, and Nets.
I don’t even hate the basketball part of it all that much. The worst part is the attitude and the body language. The frustration fouls, the horrible shot selection because of ego, the delay of games. It’s a complete lack of mental discipline leading to a complete abomination of strategic discipline.
Even as a neutral they’re a super frustrating team tbh. You guys have a lot of talent - especially in terms of defense and shooting, but when guys just aren’t moving on defense, holding on to the ball, and have lazy turnovers it drives me insane.
Finch has had a lot of success with minnesota, but lots of this is on the coach. You’ve got to get effort out of your guys at the very least. This isn’t the Lakers off of a title in 2001, or the KD warriors, they can’t get away with inconsistent effort.
Calm down there hot shot. You may win the next 5 championships in a row, but you’ll still never be the Nuggets
Can i get the tea on this? I’ve never really understood the nuggest-wolves hate.
I dont really know what caused it either, but every time I see the hate come up, I think back to that ridiculous fadeaway shot Rudy hit on them in the playoffs. Makes me laugh every time lmao
People call OKC dirty but Lu Dort has never tried to injure one of our players and then their entire fanbase calls the game rigged against them like Jamal Murray did in game 2 in 2024. Plus in the last two regular seasons, Jokic has had like 3 games where the refs just stopped calling fouls on him in the second half while continuing to give him free throws
This is frustrating? Imagine barely remembering Kevin garnett and becoming a die hard fan his last season before being traded to Boston.
That’s… still this team
Haven’t watched you guys in a while. How’s Randle? I had a bit of a debate with someone on here because I said Randle was hard to watch and that the trade was a step back for you guys and he disagreed
Well, first thing is that the trade was somewhat necessary. KAT’s contract put us over the second apron and would have killed this team for years.
Second, we didn’t just get Randle, we got Donte and the pick that became Joan Beringer.
Donte is a high motor, full effort player that can be both hot and cold but he’s still been good for us. Beringer is VERY young and only has 4-5 years of basketball experience. He’s a project, but in his minutes he has honestly looked very good. I have high hopes for him.
Randle is… rough to watch. He can have a good game here or there, but he just doesn’t seem to fit this team. His attitude problems are well-known, and he doesn’t mesh well with anyone else as a player. He and Rudy don’t play well together. He and Ant don’t have a 2 man game. Randle and Naz are one of the worst defensive 2-man lineups in the league. He’s undisciplined, doesn’t seem to stick to the game plan, and refuses to regularly acknowledge his weaknesses and play unselfishly. His defense is horrific.
When he’s good, he’s pretty damn good. But it’s not usually good in a way that puts our team over the top the way it ought to. If you compare him and Ant as a 1+2 to, for example, Jokic and Jamal Murray or Wemby and Castle, you’ll see that Randle and Ant just don’t mesh. They both stop the ball, they both have mental lapses, they don’t enhance each other’s game the way those other duos do.
That’s what happens when you have a complete buffoon of a coach that doesn’t run an actual offense
It’s a discipline problem. They just autopilot and assume that they’re going to be allowed to make free passes. Their habits are lazy, and that makes me think their team practice is probably lazy.
The team stopped communicating like a week ago. They were all on the same page out of the all star break when they went like 7-1 and then just split into 5 guys on the court doing their own thing to go 1-4. Same story all season. When they’re talking to each, having fun, they win. When they got a stick up their ass putting pressure on themselves, they lose.
Is 22 turnovers in a game good?
It’s a bold strategy, let’s see if it pays off for em
We should just start grabbing wrists instead Doris Burke says thats the MVP move.
Minnesota had 21 turnovers when they got stomped by the Clippers the other day too. That’s the team’s number one issue that makes them lose games, not the refereeing.
Oh boy, tell me you didn’t watch that game without telling me you didn’t watch the game.
Chris finch?
CTE basketball by the wolves
Wolves forcing the turnover then immediately losing the ball again for multiple possessions in the fourth has given me brain damage
If the Timberwolves cut out the sloppy mistakes they’d probably have like 5 more wins rn
Why would their coach work on improving the team when he can just blame every loss on the refs and call it a day?
Chris Finch is a whine and dine type of guy
He’s too good to be fired but not good enough to win it all, the worst combo
5? LOL, probably 10
imagine getting destroyed by the sexual orca
So bald, so smooth
No knock on OKC’s defense but wtf is up with the Wolves? Where are their heads right now?
They are so mentally inconsistent. They already have lack of playmaking/ballhandlers, but they have these stretches where they go full ooga booga. A lot of low iq players therr
Chris Finch on the hot seat 100%
It’s not just the Thunder they do this against.
Lowkey ball security has always been a weakness of theirs over the last couple years. It just gets magnified against okc.
The check cleared for the Refs after that “Block” by SGA.
Wolves had more free throws than the Thunder. 22 to 19.
Wolves CTE basketball apparently applies to their fans too
He is akin to iguodala on the warriors
How could the refs do this to Finch?
Ant can be so careless with the ball most of his turnover have been just boneheaded
Damnit I miss this guy on the Lakers. Bonehead front office.
Feel like the wolves have hit their ceiling with this roster.
The ultimate pest
twolves were super careless with the ball today lol
Finch might be a great individual skills developer, because a lot of guys have leveled up under him, but I think it’s safe to say he doesn’t do much for developing a structured team game. Most of these guys have been playing together for a long time now, and they continue to look as lost as ever.
Didn’t even say I love you to the ball, man’s unserious.
Free throws! My favorite thing!!
Legendary Reach-in Fouling by Caruso. Marvelous.
Caruso literally has his hands on the ball. All the frames are right there in the replay
Yeah, except he doesn’t. Typical O-COPE-C response.
I can’t imagine hating an NBA team so hard that it causes visual impairment. You can literally just pause and click through the replay
i think about this often, like how can your hatred and misery over a team/player cause you to literally invent scenarios to support your hatred. how do you let it get to that point.
Blind fanboy moron
is it really much of a cope if they stomped the wolves at the end lol
