It wouldn’t be so fucking annoying if they just threw the rule out the window but it’s the fact that refs pick and choose when they want to call a palming/carrying, moving screen, travel, etc that makes it infuriating.
If they just said fuck it let’em play and never called it, while that isn’t necessary great, it’s better than them cherry picking when they want to call it.
They can’t throw the rule out, because you’d see this and worse every time. At least having the rule and the threat of the call keeps it somewhat respectable, even if shit like this does still happen at times.

There is no argument it’s not a moving screen, but it’s also the same action that has happened on 6 out of the last 10 plays for both teams.
