[Highlight] Luka Doncic scores the game-winning jumper, as the Nuggets fail to score at the other end (with replays).
Every Lakers player rushes to Luka afterward, celebrating
Thank god Jamal fouled out because I bet my life he’d have hit a bullshit shot
fwiw I fully expected that end-of-regulation hail mary from him to go in
I would’ve ended it all ngl
bruh, lol
Lol Jamal playing like ass and Lakers fans still terrified of him š but for good reasons because I fully agree with you lmaooo
Without Jamal their offence looked stale. Thats the mega difference between Jokic and Luka jokic still needs a amazing PG to be at his best
You have no clue how many times Iāve tried to explain this to jokic Stanās. Him needing a guard will always hinder him just like any other center.
He won an mvp without Jamal playing that seasonā¦
Yeah and they were a 6th seed that year. That year Luka with Dwight Powell as a center made it to the WCF lol and weāre a 4 seed. Bertans, Dwight Powell, Dinwiddie and Brunson as supporting cast, with Kleber. Jokic still had a better supporting cast with Murray out bear in mind this is not the JB you saw now he blossomed into it.
Jokic has had better rosters most his career than Luka but people pretend otherwise
Literally you all are pretending jokicās roster was better in 2022 when Lukaās won 2 playoff games in 2022 without him and jokic had a better series against the warriors than luka did
Funny enough that you didn’t mentioned Facu, who was a rotational player for denver two straight years from 2020 to 2022, then signed the Mavs and got waived.
If you wanna compare supporting cast, you should look at how these players perform after they leave Dallas/Denver. I claim that I don’t even need to bring in any stats, because most of them quickly faded away from the NBA game.
Among the roster of 2022 Nuggets, starter Will Barton, backups JaMychal Green and Austin Rivers are all out of league one year after (played their last NBA season in 2022-23. Starting PG Monte Morris was traded to Wizards in 22-23 season and played ok that year, then became an end of bench player since then. Backup PG Bones Hyland hasn’t been good for many years after he left Denver, until recently with Minnesota, who he became a bit playable.
Then there’s Jeff Green, who basically got his last contract in Houston, after playing in the 2023 Champ roster. The best of the roster was Gordon obviously. He was better defensively back then, and a better inside threat, but hasn’t developed a midrange nor 3 point shot either.
There’s also Bryn Forbes and DeMarcus Cousins, who got traded/signed midway, and both out of league in the following year.
Meanwhile in Dallas, Porzingis played half his season with Mavs, but sure we can ignore him. We can also ignore Brunson since you claimed he was not impactful. I also agree that Bertans was terrible. Powell and Kleber, both continues to contribute as bench players for 4 straight years. Idk where Dinwiddie went this year, but he was certainly in the league playing some meaningful minutes after the 2022 season.
Now let’s look at the guys you willingly forgot: THJ and DFS both continued to play with heavy minutes. One of them is really good and I’m sure you know about it. Reggie Bullock, who was a starter in playoff, was out two years after.
Finally, despite the better roster that year, Dallas only won 4 more games in regular season (52-30), while Denver had 48-34, which isn’t too big as a margin. They both ended up losing 1-4 in the playoff series to the eventual champion.
Absolutely hilarious to lie and pretend Lukaās roster was worse than jokicās! I beg everyone to go compare the rosters that year.
The mavs roster was so ābadā that Brunson led them to 2 playoff wins without Luka in the first round!
Then Luka got smoked by the warriors 4-1 just like the nuggets who also had the warriors in the first round and jokic had better stats than luka against the warriors!
But sure keep lying buddy, one day luka may win a championship.
Lol he can go 0/30 and heāll still hit the winning shot against the lakers. He was around 1⁄15 this game but I am sure all the laker fans were glad he fouled out early in OT. Always the fucking boogeyman while having a terribly bad game.
Luka is HIM. AR is HIM.
AR almost threw the game away but he made up for it with the game tying shot
Luka, LeBron, and AR kept turning the ball over in the most frustrating of ways.
Don’t get me started on LeBron missing easy gimme layups.
He was getting hacked on a few of those tbf
LeUps
LeOops
Luka was pretty bad this game, tbh. Took tons of bad 3s, very sloppy with the ball and just inefficient. But he came in the clutch.
AR and Bron were great all night, imo.
The Nuggets were sending tons of people at him all night. The strategy was just to blitz him, be physical with him and not let him get his step back 3 off. Luckily he distributed the ball well and all that attention on him enabled everybody else to eat. AR, LeBron and Smart had extremely efficient games.
Don’t forget the old man diving for the ball!
Twice… not me screaming at the screen if no one except tge forty something dude is going to throw himself down to recover the ball
Also loved ayton and bron setting up AR for the end of regulation game tying shot, just a really smart and impressive play
SO TOUGH
They are THEM!
Don’t show this to mav fans
We are here, glad Luka is proving the haters wrong
Luka somehow dropped in mvp rankings again
Media is about to start talking about how he should be a role player
And that his role is to warm the bench up for Bron to alleviate his sciatica
We (erstwhile)Mavs fans are used to this š
Luka Fan For Life
Mavs fans love Luka lol. It’s not his fault we had a dumb gm
Luka is Luka, Fuck Nico in the ass and his ears
I’ve become so numb
I’m technically a former fan - but Luka is the only source of joy for me in the NBA. He will never stop making me jump up and down like a child
I’ve never seen Luka make that specific kind of shot beforeĀ
A step back mid range near the baselineĀ
He usually likes angling to use the glassĀ
he’s made that shot on a number of occasions, here’s one example from his 73 point game although there he’s fading to his right
And I’ve never seen a specific type of shot Luka can’t make.
Heās copying SGAās moves now smh my head
Thatās SGAās chicken shove too. Lmao
Atleast theyāre consistent in not calling that
I mean, Reggie miller to Jordan, Jordan to Russel, wade on 06 was doing it all the time
Itās been a bad week for Spencer Jones and game winners.
Would not mind Luka putting that into his bag at all
I think this was far less egregious, spencer and him were very close and the final bump Luka used to step back.
Man, if SGA hit this exact same shot to win an OT game over the Nuggets you just know that this sub would have a full-on referendum on offensive fouls that would last a fucking week lol
Weirdos for not using their foul to give.
tbf, they forced Luka into a tough shot
All Luka does is make tough shots
I don’t think that’s a very tough shot for Luka. They gave him the left hand and let him get pretty deep before the contest really came.
As soon as he started driving left I said “he’s got it” just cause there was so much space
Thatās a bad choice, I swear had they left him open heād have bricked that shit
Thatās a bad motherfucker right there.
It is Luka’s first game winning shot for the Lakers, also his first career game winning shot from inside the arc.
You’re missing his playoff ones.
Fixed. 2 more game winners for Dallas added in there. Still his first one for the Lakers!
Luka ‘sugar in his veins’ Doncic
Luka Diabecic
ITS r/LUKAMAGIC šæšæšæ
Why is this sht so dark
Itās nighttime
He got the game winning block too.
Chuck getting nightmares tonight lol
Good defense, better offense.
Absolute boneheaded decision to not foul Luka with a foul to give.
Leading scorer in the league is also a clutch ass motherfucker…
don’t you forget who LUKA is š¤š¤š¤
Charles Barkley in shambles
that’s a block
Best scorer of all time
I miss luka
āLuka just iced the Nuggets tonight. Playoffs are gonna be insane. So
Same dude shai hit the game winner over and still u dont immediately double a guy as dangerous as luka donicic just dumb to now u gotta hold that L
They sent the double poorly, Luka just dribbled away into space on the wing and left the second defender trailing the play.
Clean shot. Well done.
The “double” by Brown is slow af.
Surprised they let him sit that shot instead of fouling
This game man
Tough tough shot but Bruce Brown is in no manās land there by not committing to the double.
FUCK YOU NICO ! FUCK YOU NICO ! FUCK YOU NICO !
YOU HAD A FOUL TO GIVE ADELFUCK
Ya but did you see how little defense he played while hitting the game winner??? ā haters
should be an offensive foulĀ
Luka chasing that game winner like his daughter
