Even if Reaves didn’t intentionally miss the second free throw and made it instead, you’re up one, with no timeouts left, you have the trouble of inbounding the ball below your basket, where there’s a lot less space so you’re risking a turnover against the press, and even if you do inbound it they’ll just foul straight away and less than a second will go off the clock.
