But Luka has been so likeable that the only negative thing haters could have on him was the fact he was fat, while all the other joked that he simply assimilated to Dallas and Texas culture…. which honestly I also thought he did.

I used to work at UCLA in the pediatrics part of the hospital. There was always an amazing buzz when the Lakers came. Pelinka came to the PICU where I worked and just chatted with a teenager for a bit without any cameras around. Kinda neat seeing their humanity. We always joked we’d never see LeBron in the ICU, he got the cancer kids because they make the best social posts. Props to everyone who showed up, and glad this kid got to meet his favorite football player.
