KAT and Randle have completely switched places. Forget the trade. Randle was excellent to start the year, to the point where people were saying the Wolves 100% won the trade. KAT was really poor for his standards for like 3 months. Now for the last month and change, Randle has been bad and KAT has been amazing on both ends. Wolves are Knicks west, and Knicks are Wolves east.

Randle is such a polarizing player. Sometimes he’s fantastic and in certain matchups, he plays terrific on a consistent basis. But then there’s this version of Randle who is a detriment to the team. We saw this exact thing last season vs OKC in the Western Conference Finals. He’s is one of the few reasons why I don’t view the Timberwolves as a real contender. The Timberwolves are a very good team, and against most teams in the west Randle and the rest of the supporting case is probably fine - but against OKC in the playoffs, they’re going to get washed.
