For the first time since November 3, when they were just 6 games into the season with a 3-3 record, the Clippers have been able to climb back and are now at a .500 record. They were once 15 games under .500 at a 6-21 record.

An incredible mid season turnaround from the Clippers, who were 6-21 at one point, who benched and sent home Chris Paul, went on a nice mid-season run, traded future hall of fame point guard James Harden to the Cavs for Darius Garland, traded Chris Paul (who then promptly retired), traded their defensive anchor for the past 5-6 seasons in Ivica Zubac to the Pacers for Bennedict Mathurin, Isaiah Jackson and picks. They’ve also been at the center of the Kawhi Leonard-Aspiration scandal, under investigation by Pablo Torre.
Despite all this, head coach Tyronn Lue said he wanted to finish on a 35-20 run, and since those comments, his team is 25-11, including wins over the Nuggets and the Knicks.
Kawhi Leonard looks like he’s moved past his injuries that severely limited him across the 2022-2025 seasons.
Great job staying somewhat competitive plus being ready to compete for the future.
