I went to game 2 of the finals last year and holy shit is Oklahoma humid and hot as hell. But the fans were prolific. I love this team since I’ve lived in California and now Washington. Going to bars to watch Thunder playoff games is a doozy.

Dort was allowed to commit murder on defense with no consequence, including shoving Hali to the ground with both hands when the pacers were down 1 with less than 2 minutes left. Game 4 was a choke by the Pacers, up 10 with 12 mins to go. Outscored by 14 in the 4th.

Nobody on the pacers had that kind of leash.

We’re talking about a game SGA had no FTs in until midway through the 3rd and would only have 2 more until Intentional foul time. They were grabbing him all game long too, ridiculous to say that the Pacers had no leash. They were given every opportunity to put the Thunder down and failed.

Even in the 4th, the Thunder were making a gap and the Pacers got back into it at the FT line. The Thunder had 8 non-intentional foul FTs, the Pacers had 10.

Including 4 right at the end, where Mathurin went ¹⁄₄. Like if Mathurin makes all his FTs, there’s a situation where the Pacers are down 3 with the ball and no shotclock.

SGA even hit a 3 and a 2 to give the Thunder the lead at 104-103. Pacers would only score 1 point from here on out.

The refs did not lose you any game. The Pacers lost that game. Being outscored by 14 in the 4th of a Finals game is not on the Refs.

Hali and Siakam combining for only 48 points on 30 shots is what hurt them more. Thunder killed them on the boards too.
